Location is beautiful! (New Ambassador location). My nail tech was very sweet. But overall not thrilled with the service received. I did a manicure plus dipping powder ($55). The dip itself is very thick and there are multiple imperfections such as bubbling and what looks like “drips”. Considering the price of the service I was really expecting better. Not sure if it’s because this particular location only opened yesterday, but still disappointed.

Horrible! The only good thing about this establishment is the building. Today I went into King J’s to get my nails fixed from when they messed them up the first time. My nails had begun to chip 3 hours after I got them done. The manager allowed an inexperienced worker to work on my nails and they were bubbly, uneven, and scuffed on the side from when he filed them after he already polished them.
The manager gaslighted me as if I did not know what I was talking about and was crazy. (See for yourself-pics below). He then proceeded to make a big deal for about 10 mins having 5 different people

I'm a regular at another salon near my home; however, I was leaving town and they were booked. I decided to try King J Nail.
The overall appearance and organization of the business seemed nice. I was told to sign up on the tablet upon entry. The gentleman at the desk pointed out where to go next. I was paired with Cindy.
I requested a pedicure and manicure with dip powder. Cindy began running the water. She signaled for me to put my feet in. The water was very hot. I told her, and she did adjust the temperature. She asked if I wanted to "cut down" my nails.

Does the second time I came here first time it was phenomenal this time delay for rust I told which packers I wanted which included the milk be warmed importance of my legs I didn’t know that at the time but that’s fine that’s what I chose she was like oh you talk now that’s it milk done ha ha
I mean maybe because I’m a male and I don’t come often but it states that I get a 15 minute massage but she gets up so it’s OK you’re done when I mentioned the massage she said no it’s part of the whole process when your feet in the water ani was like no you were cleaning off the clay or

This is my absolute favorite nail salon in the Lafayette area and I’ve been coming as a regular customer since they opened post covid. This was my first time having an experience not up to their usual standards. Within two days of getting a full set with color acrylic I lost a nail. I don’t blame anyone but myself on the first one because I thought I just hit my hand too hard. However, within the first week of having my new set the acrylic began to pop up around my nail bed on almost all of my nails. It has been a very painful and aggravating two weeks. I usually can get at least 3-4 weeks

I’ve been going here for a few months now. I’ve always had a great experience until today’s visit. Mindy did a great job on my pedicure as always. What the issue is, the tech who did my nails (I think her name is Alaina) started to become rude when I asked her to fix a few nails because they weren’t to my liking. I didn’t do anything out of the ordinary after leaving the shop and my nails are already chipping and look horrible. For the extra $30 just for the set alone, I will not return for this service…

My first visit here would have been a 5 star rating if I wouldn't have done eyelashes, which I never do! The tech I had for my nails and pedi was excellent, gonna call him Ben bc I don't want to spell it wrong. Best pedi I ever had!! When it came to my lashes, it burned the whole time I was getting them done. 1.5 hours later still red and burning and started falling off by the end of the day. They did try to make it right by fixing them with no charge. The girl who fixed them did better, no burning, but she did a more dramatic look when I wanted natural. They looked ok so I didn't complain but
