Zipper Geo Associates (ZGA) is a geotechnical and environmental consulting firm founded in 2012. Our services combine local experience and geotechnical expertise to serve a wide range of private and public sector clients, including banks, engineering and architectural firms, developers, and real estate investment companies looking for the highest level of expertise.
We are geoprofessionals who leave no stone unturned. Our highly experienced geotechnical engineers anticipate and analyze issues, then develop comprehensive plans that get your project started right, running smoothly, and completed successfully. We know the Pacific Northwest and our solutions are designed, tested, and implemented right here.
As a complement to our geotechnical consulting services, ZGA also provides geotechnical design services for both private and public sector projects. ZGA specializes in the design of structural earth and mechanically stabilized earth retaining walls and slopes. One of our principal engineers, Rob Ross, has been the engineer of record for well over one million square feet of retaining wall face in the greater Northwest and Canada.
We offer environmental consulting expertise to commercial, industrial, and other regulated communities, primarily to help clients understand and manage risk. Goals typically include providing environmental due diligence prior to property transfers, evaluation of potential contaminants and pertinent regulations and regulatory compliance, and site investigation and remediation.
We regularly follow up our design phase services by providing construction support. All of our personnel are well versed in the value geotechnical and environmental oversight contribute to successful project completion. Our staff members provide effective observation and testing services as well as comprehensive documentation.
