With our depth of knowledge on best practices in design and our dedication to ongoing design research, 845 Design Group provides architectural services from pre-design through occupancy for healthcare, municipal, commercial and residential clients. Megan's creative ideas, professionalism and availability made the whole experience delightful for our staff and clients.
Megan has a passion for designing environments that enhance lives. Megan began her career designing custom residential homes in the West and Northwest suburbs of Chicago while attending the University of Illinois at Chicago to earn her bachelor's degree. After taking some time to work in a professional office, Megan returned to school to earn her master's degree in architecture at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
While architecture revolves around beautiful buildings, transforming these dreams into a reality can only happen by developing strong relationships while listening and engaging in conversation over the course of a project. Jamie has been building client relationships like these for over a decade. She began her career by developing high-end residential homes on the North Shore of Chicago.

We have been working with 845 for the past few years to create a better space usage plan for our building and to bring it up to 21st century standards, including accessibility. The group has been creative and responsive since the very first meeting; they were the only ones to come back to the second interview, before we even hired them, with some possible suggestions for some of our more pressing issues.
Now that we are getting closer to build phase, they have done an outstanding job of tweaking their designs to fit our budget.

I have been working with Jamie for over 10 years in the A/E industry and have continued this relationship with her at 845 Design Group. We have done multiple projects with their firm and they are a great architectural group to work with. We have also used their architectural services on our own real estate developments with continued success.
