Services
Guests at A Hiada-way could not find a better location to take advantage of the numerous fishing opportunities on the Kenai Peninsula. The apartment is just 4.5 miles from the Kasilof River Boat Launch, and mere minutes to the famous Kenai River. Or, you could toss your hook in the Cook Inlet just five minutes from the apartment!
From your base at A Hiada-way, you'll have access to some of Alaska's best outdoor activities. There are great opportunities to view wildlife on the property and in the surrounding area. Visitors may be interested in whale watching or glacier viewing tours, both available in Seward. Bear viewing and flight seeing day trips are available out of Nikiski, Soldotna, and Homer.
A Hiada-way owner Carole Okamoto, an Alaska Native, makes Alaska Native gifts that she sells at her home on the Peninsula. She specializes in the manufacture of sea otter coats, vests, headbands, trapper's hats, trapper's mittens and teddy bears. Sea otter coats are considered the rarest, softest, and most coveted fur in the world because of its dense hairs.
