I booked a trip with Sandy(owner) to the Dominican Republic and gave her a $1200 deposit on my credit card this was in the beginning of December 2021 less then 3 weeks later we requested to cancel our trip because of COVID and the new variant at that time she not only charged me $100 from the tour company
But she took it upon herself to charge my credit card an additional $150 which she said was her fee! If there was going to be a fee she should never have taken upon herself to charge my credit card Without my authorization She should have sent me a bill. I feel like this was very dishonest and

Don't bother with the online "deals", a real Travel agent like Travel Plaza is the way to get the best deal and actual customer service. I have always had a great experience with Travel Plaza and will continue to do so. It is also nice to know there is someone you can call and talk to if there are any issues with your trip. Try that with one of the online re-sellers and see how far you get

I wish I could give a better star rating but our experience was not great. On more than one occasion we were greeted over the phone with an exasperated staff member. It was like we were bothering them. They seemed extremely overwhelmed. This occurred with myself, my family and several friends that booked a trip. Many times they were very short with us and not interested in sending our information, even questioning why we wanted some items.... like a receipt. In the end, we were booked, went on our trip and received all paperwork to get on our trip. There were times that the staff was nice too
