Services
Thank you for your inquiry regarding mediation. The Family Mediation and Counseling Center is a group of mental health and legal professionals. We offer our services to people seeking an alternative to litigated divorce and other family conflicts. Our professional alliance pairs divorce and its attendant issues with the mediation process to arrive at livable, creative resolutions.
The Transition Group is a small group that meets in the evening once a month. Participants share the common theme that they are going through a transition. Either through a divorce, separation or a loss of a partner. The group maintains confidentiality and supports each other through the sharing of experiences and impressions.
Reduced rates may be available in cases of financial hardship. I cannot guarantee that your insurance will reimburse your time in therapy. If I am an approved provider with your insurance carrier, my office will submit a claim for payment. If we do not receive payment, you will then be responsible for the balance of our unpaid fee for service.
Tai Chi: "Not Just Exercise, but a Recipe for Balancing Life." Since 1995, Ray has been practicing Marriage and Family Therapy and treating individuals, couples and families. He has come to realize that emotional distress manifests in the body causing somatic pain, illness, and disease. Working with the body while using slow motion gentle movements can help discharge the stress and help healing occur.
