Spent the weekend in Hill Country with the family and we rented the Rockin J Cabin at Log Country Cove, everyone had a great time! The cabin was very cozy and there were so many activities and little games spread out for each age group we had. Everyone really enjoyed the pool table at the front of the cabin, and we also loved sitting outside near the fire at night. We loved walking the trails and also enjoyed the area next to the lake with swings and nice scenery. My only recommendation is that they put better lighting in front of the house where the pool table and foosball is, at night it gets

We had the best family trip ever at log country cove! We rented a jet ski we swim in the pool and hot tub and we had so much fun on the water trampoline and the rope swing. Renting a golf cart made it a fun adventure for the kids, and we loved doing hikes on the trails with some beautiful views. We hope to go back annually!

This place was amazing. Came here for a company retreat and had the best time. Loved that you can jump from the balcony down into the pool. The main house is built from all Canadian trees and there's not a single sheet of drywall in it. The owner is also really cool and humble. Overall I was really impressed with this place. Can't wait for next years retreat.

Such a cozy little getaway. I’m not one to do a log cabin out in the middle of nowhere but this was actually pretty cool. My family and I (6 adults and 6 kids) really enjoyed our selves. Minus the tv, all of our kids stayed tech free which was awesome. They really enjoyed themselves playing in the pool all day and visiting the lake along with a platoon ride and some serious volleyball fun. The only reason I gave them 4 stars instead of 5 is because our cabin wasn’t the cleanest. Whoever stayed before us obviously brought along their dog and that was not cleaned up before our arrival. We were a last minute booking in July because the cabin (not affiliated with Log Country Cove) we reserved in April was somehow double booked. We stayed in the Longhorn Cove cabin which is technically just off site, but we ended up liking that a lot. It was so quiet and peaceful. We still had access to use all the amenities at the main site and the kids had SO much fun. They treated us like we had been any other guest that had been booked in advance. The employees were so thoughtful and kind. I especially liked not being charged for every little thing like a life jacket for my one year old to take

We chose Log Country Cove for our anniversary getaway. Shadyside cabin was the perfect spot. The bed was comfortable for our three night stay. The grounds were beautiful! Trees, green grass, and a lake! My husband rented a skidoo and had a blast. There was a water trampoline available for anyone interested. Lots of volleyball options, play grounds, and picnic tables.
Our cabin held a microwave and mini fridge. Perfect for the two of us. Had we planned better we would have brought some steak to grill on the little pit in the front yard. Next time.

The Tuscan Villa at Log Country Cove was really nice. 95% of the entire 7 bedroom house was amazing and well kept. The house was equipped with everything needed for a large family/friend stay. The 5% lacking were a broken gas grill, chairs in the media room need replacing and a few other small furniture items not in the best shape. However, we had a great time!

The best place to stay on Lake LBJ! Get the kids outside! There's so much to do here! Family friendly and couple cozy! Cabins for 2 or 20 ( or more!) Out of a possible 10 points I give LCC a 40 ( they have over 40 lovely cabins!) Perfect for a weekend getaway or week long vacay!
Bring your swimsuit ...the fun is included in the price! And seriously... put the phones away!

The ladies of my family and I spent Mother's Day weekend at Log Country Cove this year, we loved it! My 91-year-old Grandmother attended and the house was handicap accessible and easy for her to move around in on her walker. The distance from Austin was perfect and the prices were reasonable. The staff was very helpful, polite and engaging. We look forward to returning annually and experiencing the other homes.
Our house did not have wifi (Cloud 10) and the icemaker did not work but we used hot spots and made a few ice runs to the store a few miles down the street.

Staying at Log Country Cove for our annual family vacation was a 10/10 experience. For our trip, we stayed in the Big Timber Lodge, which was one of the only cabins large enough to host our extended family. Situated right on the banks of the river, this cabin was the perfect location for our three days on the lake. My only complaint with our cabin was the open-aired style of the great room and basement: the walls dividing the rooms did not go all the way to the ceiling, so there was not way for people to stay up late when others wanted to go to bed.

I stayed at this beautiful property in October with a women's group I belong to. We rented the main lodge and two smaller cabins, on each side for 3 nights. This location is aboslutley gorgeous!! I cannot express enough how much thought was put into building these homes to perfectly show off the lake views.
The main lodge is out of this world, I stayed in the bottom level that leads out directly to the heated pool/hot tub area. We affectionately named the "orphanage" because of the row of twin beds! So cute! There are gorgeous walking/hiking trails, dock to fish from, swing rope

This property all developed and built with Canadian logs is located on constant level Lake LBJ. What I like is you rent your own lodge maybe for a romantic getaway away or book 25 lodges for a wedding or family reunioun. Everyone gets their own lodge. Rates are great and you can rent boats, swim and fish. Many of the larger lodges have private pools.....a must try
Most important is the family runs this not some off site big off site corporation. Easy drive from Dallas, Austin,San Antonio or Houston. GOOD LUCK.

Just what we were hoping for...and more. The owners could not be nicer. The place is very well kept and made me happy to know people still appreciate old fashioned fun. Our log home was well decorated, clean and had all the comforts of home. We rented a boat, paddle boat, played mini-golf, fished and cooked out on a fire. It was like camping but with A/C and HDTV!! The owners and staff were very helpful. We would definitely come here again!
