The most appealing interiors are crafted. Attention has been paid to all of the elements - room layout and connections, door and window locations, lighting, millwork, flooring, hardware, fixtures, interior finishes, and how they all work together. In many ways the practice of interior architecture considers how buildings work from the inside out, focusing on how we experience interior spaces and how they function to enhance our lives.
There is a lot to consider when selecting furnishings for a room. How will you move through the space, how do you want it to feel, what furniture will you need? How can you layer color and pattern, texture and form to appeal to all the senses? Beauty and comfort go hand in hand, so comfortable, durable upholstered seating is essential.
Jenn did an amazing job of blending my husband's desire for a rustic room with my more traditional tastes. It was sometimes hard for us to imagine Jenn's suggestions, but everytime something new was completed we were in awe of what a beautiful and perfect change it made. As the project continued, we reminded ourselves that Jenn had not been wrong yet and decided to stick with her ideas.

Jenn and I worked on a very large renovation project when I purchased a second home in NH. At first, I thought I was going to update a bathroom and the kitchen, but with Jenn’s architectural design expertise I soon realized I could turn this house into something very special. Jenn was not only able to recognize the dysfunction in some of the room layouts, she was also able to come up with viable solutions.
Jenn took the time to get to know me and my style and listened to what I was asking for. She was very collaborative as a design professional. She also wasn’t afraid to bring lots of choices

We have worked with Jenn over the last 8 years on various parts of our home. In fact, her fingerprint is on every room of the house except our second floor which we will start this year. The fact that we return to Jenn repeatedly for our different projects speaks to her expertise. She excels not only in space planning, but design of that space as well. She is really good at helping you reimagine what your space could look like even if you have no vision of your own (like me!!). I was extremely satisfied with Jenn's work and with Sacris Design. Jenn was the consummate professional to work with, and she worked in concert with our contractor and other subcontractors on our project. We did a major renovation/re-decorating of our home - Jenn assisted in all phases of the project, from furniture, painting, wallcovering, floor coverings, paintings, countertops, lighting, window treatments - just to name a few! Sacris Design had an amazing impact on our living space. We are so happy to have had the opportunity to work with Jenn Sanborn. She exercised just the right balance of her professional knowledge in conjunction with our tastes and wishes. Jenn is able to offer as much or as little guidance as her client requests, all while ensuring the end product is beautiful. She does not impose her own design tastes on the client.
