I fight for every client, and make the police uphold the burden of proof. When dismissal isn't an option, my clients get alternatives to jail such as rehabilitation, counseling, or community service. I earned my reputation by treating every client with respect, no matter the charges against them. I uphold that reputation by taking the fight to the prosecution.

Commercial DUI laws in California are stricter and carry harsher penalties. It's important to understand these differences when you drive a passenger or freight vehicle. Commercial DUIs in California are defined by a lower BAC requirement than regular DUIs. While the legal limit for a driver's BAC is 0.08% normally, drivers in a commercial vehicle cannot have over a 0.04% BAC.
Scheduling your DMV DUI hearing is very important. After you are arrested for a DUI, the DMV will read the arresting officer's report and decide whether to uphold your license suspension (they always do). A DMV DUI hearing is your chance to argue against your license suspension. Without this hearing your license will almost certainly be suspended.
The penalties for a DUI vary depending on the number of previous DUI convictions. The vast majority of DUI cases come from perfectly respectable people who make a small but serious mistake. While the penalties for a first offense are less severe, they can be quite costly. In most cases it is less expensive to hire a specialist DUI attorney and fight for reduced charges or dismissal.

I was recently pulled over at a DUI checkpoint, and according to Mark it was not a legal checkpoint. He was able to prove this in court and I was exonerated as he said he was going to be able to do during our first meeting. He was extremely professional and always contacted me whenever he had an update. Thank You Mark, I appreciate you!

My family and I were unfortunately in an accident, with a small child in the car in a small town in the mountains. The child was not injured but my fiancé was charged with two felonies in this DUI related accident. He was surely facing prison time until we hired Mark. He immediately was supportive and gave us reassurance during this frightening, hard time. While he was able to get the felony with child endangerment completely dismissed, he got the felony DUI dismissed to misdemeanor injury, and ultimately reduced that to a regular DUI. Furthermore, he excelled in his job and went above and beyond

Mark Sollitt is a saint! He is very smart, driven and became a good friend. He saw my case was unjust, and trusted me 100%! Got me out of some pretty heavy stuff. Proved the accident wasn't my fault and took away the Felony they were trying to charge me! Thank You Mark, I will never forget what you did for me!
