Services
The Implant Post: A dental implant is small titanium post, or screw, that we place underneath the gum tissue and into the bone. Because we surgically embed the implant deep within the jaw, it serves as the root component of a prosthesis. The Abutment: An abutment is metal support structure that links the implant post to your restoration.
If you have dental insurance, please bring any forms or insurance cards with you to the appointment. Although we require payment at the time of your office visit, we will assist you in filing the necessary insurance forms to expedite your reimbursement. Please Note: All patients under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at the consultation appointment.

I’m so thankfully to have been seen by Dr. Jurkowitz last week. I have been suffering from the worst pain for about a month and no one seemed to have any idea what was wrong! I ended up going in for a X-Ray to see what the issue was but just by looking into my mouth and feeling the gum area where the pain was coming from, he knew exactly what it was! He is VERY knowledgeable and confident. I was taken back when he told me I needed to have surgery and would be getting a couple of stitches. He has a way of explaining with such detail that the patient understands the issue and the knows the next

Dr. Jutkowitz has treated my son and more recently treating me. Dr. Jutkowitz is thorough, professional and compassionate. He explained my diagnosis and treatment thoroughly which made me feel confident and comfortable. The office staff are courteous and pleasant and took care of me right away. I've mentioned before what an excellent DMD, PC Dr. Jutkowitz is and now I feel that I should mention his new hygienist, Saira who is also exceptional.
She is extremely nice and very professional with excellent technique which should be reassuring to those few folks who aren't in love with having their teeth cleaned. I was so pleased I decided to have my teeth cleaned every week!

I recommend Dr. Jutkowitz highly to anybody needing a dental implant. He is an *amazing* practitioner, and if you need a periodontist / implantologist, you are already lucky, because you have found out about him. My several implants done by Dr. Jutkowitz over many years are all in great shape -- evidence of his knowledge, experience, expertise, talent, and overall dedication to excellence. I’ve been going to this office for over 20 years. The staff are so lovely, courteous and kind. They are very professional also. Dr Ed is amazing. I get my cleanings there 4 times a year. And have had implants and other dental procedures. Never have I ever experienced any pain during a procedure. They are absolutely excellent on all levels. I highly recommend this office.

Today I had my routine teeth cleaning with Saira. She is my new dental hygienist. She was very thorough and attentive. My mouth/teeth are very challenging and she did an awesome job. I go every 3 months for a cleaning and I look forward to my next one with her. I have to admit, I was a little nervous to start with my "new dental hygienist, " but now I'm totally at ease!

Dr. Jutkowitz -- a/k/a Dr. J. -- is a master "implantologist." I've had five implants, all performed by him. All procedures went beautifully, and all implants "took" beautifully.

My most recent experience was in the summer of 2011. Because of my vacation schedule, I couldn't see him in NYC but had to take an app't at his Long Island office. I needed to have my tooth pulled right away, so I shlepped there via LIRR. It wasn't a problem, actually.
