The story of Tulsa Ballet began in 1956. Husband and wife Roman Jasinski and Moscelyne Larkin, and musician Rosalie Talbott, founded Tulsa Ballet Theatre, blending classical dance with dramatic theatre. Internationally known dancers in the Ballet Russe tradition, Jasinski and Larkin set the tone for artistic excellence - a foundation that has been preserved and built upon for decades.
Whether this is your first time at a dance performance or you're a ballet fan, we're here to provide you with a fantastic experience. You can learn more about the performance you're seeing by following Tulsa Ballet on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and Twitter for behind-the-scenes photos, videos and interviews.
Tulsa Ballet II (TBII) is the official second company of Tulsa Ballet. TBII was designed to provide a bridge between the student phase of an aspiring classical ballet dancer and their professional career. Through a national and an international audition search, the most talented young dancers are invited to join TBII to refine their artistic and technical skills by working alongside Tulsa Ballet's main company.
Mr. Angelini will be considering male and female dancers with strong classical technique to fill positions with Tulsa Ballet's Professional Company, TBII Company, and the Trainee Program. 3-5 minutes of barre work, incorporating both sides, danced in soft shoes by male applicants and pointe shoes by female applicants.
Tulsa Ballet is seeking Black dancers for Breakin' Bricks, a ballet by Jennifer Archibald about the 1921 Tulsa Race Massacre. In collaboration with the 1921 Tulsa Race Massacre Centennial Commission, this multimedia experience combines dance with documentary film to explore the events of 1921 and the path forward to hope and healing.

MY wife and I attended the Saturday September 18, 2021 Creations in Studio K performance. WOW it was great! We are new to the Tulsa Ballet world. We planned an entire evening around this performance, Hotel reservations, Dinner reservation and late night cocktails with friends, All within waking distance. We saw the add in the Tulsa World and though, lets check it all out. My only complaint is with the PAC not stating the location of the performance. We had no clue. We walked to dinner, then the to the PAC. Once at the PAC the staff informed us that we needed to go to 45th and Peoria. They commented

Wonderful performance, and they were very careful with social distancing. Even the dancers wore masks.

I was a student there for 3 years in their upper school and also was a part of their summer intensives. I made so much improvement while I was there and for that I am so grateful. I was in love with ballet, but that was quickly ruined by the treatment i received while a student here..About a year before I left, I got shin splints that turned into a stress fracture that I am still dealing with today. This happened two years ago. I was told that I was being dramatic because I could hardly even walk when I was first injured. I was encouraged to keep going and made to feel so badly about myself because

I've traveled the world and never felt more engrossed in the performances than at this theater. Thoughtfully constructed, the stage space is the exact same dimensions as the audience space. This translates to an intimate setting, not a bad seat in the house, and a proximity that lets you see just how hard these dancers are working.

Are there more stars that I can give DRACULA? Literally, one of the best experiences I've had in the theatre. (And I've had a LOT.) It was in a word, GORGEOUS.

Tulsa Ballet puts on a wonderful performance, and the dancers are just amazing at what they do. They have classes in the summer, and during the year. The instructors here are wonderful and push you to be yourself. Their facility is beautiful and their faculty is always there to help and they have stationed water fountains throughout the school.

The Children's Program is SO good that we are willing to drive from OKC to Tulsa every week in order for our kiddo to take classes at the Tulsa Ballet. The instructors are professional and knowledgeable, and the staff is always friendly and helpful. The company is also very impressive. Their Nutcracker is a must see every Christmas!

Wonderful school for dance that offers fantastic instruction, while giving students ample opportunities to experience a professional dance company, complete with behind the scenes invitations and season tickets, and auditions with the potential to dance with the Tulsa Ballet, hailed as one of the top dance companies in North America and revereed in many countries . Their Pointe to the Future summer intensives are top notch and known across the country. They combine instruction and inspiration.

My daughter has attended some of the best summer programs in the US, but Tulsa is her #1 choice for this coming summer. We drove up from Austin for her to audition. Tulsa's reputation is spectacular and is highly recommended throughout the ballet community.

€Top 5 company”
Tulsa ballet is a skilled and mega talented company that normally would be found in a larger city. The corps members are all so talented making this a very strong group. I have seen 3 shows a year and not only can they perform classical ballet, they are also strong with contemporary works and jazzy pieces.

Sleeping Beauty-
This was my first time to attend a professional ballet, and I am so grateful for the experience! I took my daughter and she had a blast. We loved the music, which was performed by the Tulsa symphony. The story was played out so well by each performer. The costumes were elaborate and beautiful. The backdrops were gorgeous and fitting for each scene, the lighting was on point with what was happening as well. This performance, had romance, humor, and a little bit of suspense. It had it all. The dancers were of such an impressive caliber. Each of them had their own time to wow the

What a marvelous rendition of "Cinderella" by Tulsa Ballet this weekend!
The performance is sharp, fun & nearly flawless in execution. Ok, so the priest lost his hat.
Cinderella, performed by Youhee Son, is graceful; the Prince, Hyonjun Rhee, is royal and the stepsisters, Dallas Blagg & Johnnathan Ramirez Mejia are truly hilarious!
If you're a ballet lover, or even if you're not, Cinderella is a must see!

My daughter attends the Tulsa Ballet Center for Dance education. This is her seventh year there and I am very happy with her progress.
Currently she is in the 2nd division of Pre-professional. I am so proud of her!
ok, enough bragging.
I think what sets this school apart from the rest is they are very traditional and stick to rules and expectations.
They also pay attention and encourage a healthy lifestyle within learning the craft.
They recently added TBCD II, which is a ballet company for the professional dancers to start their career and have a better chance for them to be able to join a
