I give this deli 5 stars for NOT putting raw onions in their mixes. This allows folks like me who is allergic to raw onions to actually be able to have a tuna sandwich for example. I appreciate this so very much. When a restaurant automatically puts onions in things, it limits the menu for some of us. So generally I won't go back to a place that does it. For those folks that can enjoy raw onions, the restaurant can always add it, but they cannot remove them for the rest of us. Restaurants, please stop mixing onions into things so that all of us can have the food! (I miss guacamole.

This local sandwich shop is very cool. The little local spot is packed with character. All of the staff are welcoming and there is a type of humor built into the experience. They have a wide variety of sandwich types and many of them have local ties. I got the Rockaway Sandwich and it was extremely good and fresh. I paired it with their potato salad which was more of a herb base than a cream base like I am used to. It was good just different.

Honestly this is the best sandwich place in the Treasure Valley. I’ve been coming here since it first opened as 2 Fat Guys many years ago. The inside looks like it’s had a fresh coat of paint, new furniture & a lot less clutter. This makes it appear so much cleaner, which is an important aspect for a very small restaurant. I’m not sure if it’s now under a new ownership, but the sandwiches still taste as amazing as they always have. I can’t try anything new on the menu because I always eat the Trevor Melt. It is that delicious!

We just absolutely love this place! If you like good flavor and a chill fun atmosphere you won’t be disappointed. You really can’t go wrong with any of the sandwiches but my go to is always the Silver Duck. The employees are just so awesome but the food speaks for itself. Keep up the good work guys!

We went on a Monday at 2pm and the place was packed!
Great service and amazing sandwich options.
We had a group of six and tried a few different sandwiches including a turkey club, hot pastrami, a chicken salad wrap and a salad and we're not disappointed.
It's in a nondescript business park and parking can be a little cramped but definitely worth stopping in.

It was very busy even after traditional lunch hour. Girl at counter was helpful suggesting possiblilities from their extensive menu. It was difficult to read because it was all crowded on to a traditional blackboard which was crowded and hard to read. They advertise "never trust a skinny 'sammich,'" but the only part of "sammich" was the roll it was served on. I didn't find the fixings (meats or veggies) to be much "fatter" than at Subway or Jimmy Johns.

Friendly folks and fantastic food. Lots of F-words to describe an A+ deli. I'm still on a gluten free diet, so they made me a lettuce wrap. Great flavors and tasty bacon. I'm not sure you can do much better. The pickles are out of this world and the slaw was nice and crisp. Greatest spontaneous lunch stop in a while. I definite place to return to. Meat eaters have no need to worry... The pile of meat on the sandwich will keep me until after dinner.

First time here and it was really great. I got the California turkey club without bacon and it was really good. The turkey and bread tasted fresh. The people there were really nice as well. When we were ordering our sandwiches we asked for no bacon. When the owner asked what sides we wanted, we said potato salad. He let us know potato salad has bacon in it. I really appreciated him letting me know because I can't eat bacon (which he didn't know) so i was able to get chips instead. To me, it showed he cares about the customer. Great pla

Super Tasty, Trevor Melt is crazy good! The Lead Fat Guy (owner) was very friendly, however when he started giving my son and another customer the business (teasing) he went passed funny and into, "alright, lets calm down a bit" bordering rude. I think he believes since he is the owner, his customers are his "Audience" Will for sure go back, but I will take it outside to eat, or To Go...

This place ALWAYS has a line! I have finally had the time and day where I was able to try this place for the first time. The standards were pretty high considering other customers around us were boasting about the place. The boyfriend and I have decided since ALL their sandwhiches sounded so good (even those I don't particularly like). We decided to be open minded and start trying every sandwich on the menu. I started at the top with the Reuben, and he started at the bottom with The Silver Duck. The place did not disappoint! And you can't beat the price $9.95 across the board!
