The answer should only be remediation. It is a conflict of interest to do both and illegal in some states to perform the inspection and remediation on the same project. Mold can be found in several places in the home environment. It appears most often in moist or wet areas. A musty odor may also be present.

This company came highly recommended to me. I booked a consultation for an urgent mold issue and after waiting three weeks for the visit, they emailed me that they were canceling 3 days before the visit. They won’t return my phone call and emailed me that I’m on the wait list...is that 3 weeks/3 months? Very unprofessional to leave me in the dark. I will seek out a different company and feel they have zero concern for my health, as precious time was wasted, while I’m stuck living in mold and trying to manage mold remediation on my own now. If my property is too much travel for your company

I have just begun the process of getting my apartment tested for mold and other contaminants and I found Certified Mold Inspections on a recommendation and I am so glad I did. In 2017 we hired Certified Mold Inspections to test our home - even though we never had a flood, and never had the musty smell typical of homes with mold. In fact, we brought CMI in as a last resort to determine why our kids had become sick enough to require hospitalization. Sure enough, CMI discovered mold - a lot of it. There was so much mold inside our walls and HVAC-system that we had to gut our home, taking it down to the studs. Although the ordeal has been a nightmare, Steve and Corey literally saved our lives.
