Throughout the building of Hometown Tan, our goal was to use as many local businesses as possible. We strongly believe in supporting local business and believe they are the back bone of our community. We understand that it takes a lot of work to start and grow a business and by supporting each other we can continue to provide great services and products to our community and surrounding towns.
And the most popular part of the bed is THE FACIAL, which is great for getting a nice tan on your face. We have a very spacious room for this tanning bed. Which gives you plenty of room to get ready so you can enjoy your few minutes of relaxation while you get a great looking tan. The KBL tanning bed has the benefits of a longer tan time so you can really relax a little longer.

After a randomized case study found that regular use of the infrared sauna is a simple, self-directed treatment that is effective for reducing headache pain intensity in CTTH (Chronic tension-type headaches). After a randomized case study found that Infrared therapy by using the infrared sauna was demonstrated to be effective in reducing chronic low back pain, and no adverse effects were observed.
Auto-Pay simply means that we are charging your credit card or bank account monthly for your membership. You will always receive the lowest possible price (Up to 45% lower than regular pricing!). We ask for a minimum of a 4 month commitment. After the 4 months you are free to cancel at anytime, but we ask that you give a 30 day notice.

I love Hometown Tan! Shaina and Jamie make you feel like family once you walk through the door. Another great feature is making an appointment, wether you’d prefer calling or booking an appointment by visiting their website, either is very simple. They’re happy to answer any questions or concerns you may have. I go to their wellness pod weekly for my lower back, and it has been a life saver! I’m so happy that something like this is right in town. Always happy when I leave here feeling so much more relaxed and the glowing tan skin is just a plus! I absolutely LOVE this place!! Jamie and Shaina are so nice and welcoming. The salon is always clean and organized, they are very flexible and accommodating with scheduling appointments and even taking walks in when I get a few minutes to go during a busy day! I recommend this place to every one I know. So happy they are here in Barre!!

This is my absolute fav tanning salon in all of Worcester County. This is where I go to get dark. I love the California Tan #7 step 2 bronzer for lotion. It gets me dark wout staining my hands or clothes. I love the ambiance and the personal attention given to us tanners. I've tanned in many salons and paid alot in many salons to tan. I've found Hometown Tan has the best prices and the best beds. I thank God they made it through Covid. Who would of thought such a small town would have the best tanning salon. Hometown Tan.

I am very fair skinned and they helped me build a beautiful base tan before Florida. I never once burned and my skin looks great. Everything is alway clean, on time & super friendly. My best friend took me here last year for my first time. As soon as I walked in I felt like I was at an expensive spa! The services are amazing!! My favorite tanning bed is the level 3, its a max time of 10 minutes but it has amazing results. After a few times of using it I was glowing and now I buy monthly packages so I can go whenever I want and its always affordable. I've also done the wellness pod ( i made my boyfriend try it too and he loved it!) and the spray tan. The wellness pod is great after a hard day at work! Just helps release all that stress and sweat out toxens from the day. I always
