Services
We perform all cremations on site at Richmond Cremation. Your loved one is never transported to another facility or location for the cremation. Richmond Cremation is truly open and designed for your needs. The facility was created for families to be present during the cremation. All cremations are done by appointment to ensure you the opportunity to be present for the cremation if desired.
When planning a cremation, one of the many decisions you will make is where your loved one's final resting place will be. Depending on whether you choose a cemetery, your home, your garden or some other location, you will need to choose an appropriate protective container. We can help you make the best choice.
There's a lot that goes into planning a funeral, but making those arrangements beforehand gives you time to consider all of your options and make sure that you're covering all of the necessary details. Still feeling unsure? Here are some of the most important reasons why planning ahead may be the best option.
Consider any customs, traditions, or religious rites that are important to you and your family. Choose friends or family members to perform the eulogy, read scripture, or prepare a speech. There's no need to make all the decisions right away. For personalized assistance in creating your plan, contact one of our experts to schedule a one-on-one meeting.
Please list any poems, religious texts, or readings you would like to be read at your services. Please list any specific foods or beverages you would like to make available to your family and guests at the services. Is there a special story, personal thank you, or message of hope you would like to be read during your services?

Mr. Charles Christopher "Chuck" was simply amazing to me today as he went step by step with me in preparing my desires and then in going over every cost and situation with me. I am Elizabeth Smarr and my husband Donald Smarr was with me. Chuck is truly one of a kind a "Trusted Advisor." He had exactly what I had asked for on the phone and nothing more. He did not try to lead me into anything different or change my already prepared course. He was directly on point with my wishes. One of the best parts of this gathering was Chuck's personal touch of listening and talking with us about life end choices
