Services
Community Acupuncture is a specialized style of acupuncture treatment which allows us to provide care for up to 3 people in an hour. We are proud to be a member of POCA (the Peoples Organization of Community Acupuncture!) which leads this movement. Acupuncture, as a part of Traditional Chinese Medicine, works with the principle that you are an integrated whole in body, mind and spirit.
Jeff's journey to becoming an acupuncturist began as a patient when he found acupuncture after an accident that severely impacted his quality of life. After feeling disheartened with a very short list of options offered by his doctors, he found the relief he experienced from acupuncture treatment totally life changing!
Massage is a healing art that has been around for thousands of years, documented to have been used in ancient China and Egypt. It emerged in the 18th century as Swedish massage and has played a role in the health of many people since then. While massage is often thought of as a way to relieve stress, there are many other benefits to having regular massage therapy as part of your wellness plan.
Derek was born in Colorado and has resided in Fort Collins since the age of 3, minus about 5 years when he lived in Japan while on duty with the Navy. His personal journey led him to a career in Massage Therapy, graduating from the Healing Arts institute in May of 2007. As a sufferer of tension headaches and low back pain himself, Derek feels a strong connection with and enjoys helping people with chronic pain.
Energy work may be the healing art that has existed longer than any other kind of healing art. A parent's natural instinct to gently cradle their child's scraped knee speaks to our inherent knowing of the power of touch combined with love and healing intention. Today, many people have discovered energy work and consider it a valuable addition to their wellness plan.

When I moved I wanted to find another community acupuncture clinic to frequent in Fort Collins and I was very happy to find Thrive CommUnity Acupuncture! The prices are affordable, the location is so nice with lots of parking, and I appreciate the covid safety measures like masking. Dee is a wonderful acupuncturist—they'll make sure you're comfortable and answer any questions. She's also a very easy person to talk to, whether it's about health concerns and goals or just chitchat before and after sessions :) I've been at Thrive 3 times now!

I had an amazing experience here! The staff is very excepting and informative. I had never received acupuncture before and my acupuncturist, Dee, made me feel very comfortable and very educated on everything he was doing. It was also a huge plus that he brought his adorable dog to work that day. I left feeling very relaxed and happy

I love this place. I couldn't afford the amazing care they provide at any other business, but they make it easy and affordable to keep coming. I see Patrick on Fridays, and he has helped me with a wrist issue, insomnia/active and emotional dreams, and digestion, in just 4 visits! The atmosphere is calm and friendly, and everyone there has a healing energy about them. I"m so glad I finally found FCCA!

I have been coming to Fort Collins Community Acupuncture for several years. Even though I see different therapists, they are all very knowledgeable about their practice and take the time to listen. I have never had to wait more than a 5 minutes for a therapist to attend to me. Since it is a community setting , there may be some instances when you have to wait, but this is rare. Given the fact that the cost is a fraction of what other therapists charge, it's well worth your time. The results have always been positive. Living a pain free life is well worth your time.
