My daughter needed an eye exam after her school results were inconclusive. The doctors and staff were amazing making her feel calm during the exam, as well as helping her pick out her new pair of glasses. Only issue now is she’s too impatient to wait 2-3 weeks for her new frames so she can show them off to her friends at school!

I have had a couple different eye doctors in the past I was looking for something in my area and was hoping for a different evaluation and I was pleasantly surprised . Absolutely the best eye care I have ever experienced Doctors and staff are professional and patient. I would definitely recommend family and friends !!!

Simply the best in eye care and patient service. I saw Dr. Stout for the first time and surprisingly my eye appointment started right on time (never had that happen at any other eye doctor). The staff is incredibly friendly and the testing is very modern - I totally felt like they were checking out absolutely everything about my eyes and then some. Dr. Stout was incredibly friendly, answered every question I had and made the entire appointment very informative and enjoyable. Yet, the most amazing experience was in the Optical area, where the service took it to another level, helping me figure out

I have been using Madeira Optical for many years. I am very pleased with the friendliness of the staff and the Optometrists. I use Dr. Pence myself and she is very informative and fully answers all my questions and backs them by trying different scenarios using the phoropter. I highly recommend her or any of the Optometrist with Madeira Optical.

I have been coming to Madeira Optical for years. They continue to provide unmatched care and service. They take the time to explain the care they provide and tests they run. I have never felt rushed during a visit or when asking questions. The staff are always friendly. They offer a good selection of eyeglasses and prescription sunglasses to choose from with staff to help pick out the right look for you. If you are looking for a provider that truely cares about your well being and not just being another "appointment "' than this is your place.

I stumbled onto this business while looking for a different optical dispensary nearby. I had a new prescription and needed new glasses. The frame choices are good, including frames in a variety of price brackets. I received very good assistance selecting a frame. The best part was they ordered a frame for me in a different color than the one on the floor, and I was able to get the exact size I needed (eye distance, bridge size, temple arm length). I wear no-line bifocals (progressive lens) and getting the exact vertical height to begin the transition from distance to close up is really important

Lady that helped with glasses selection was somewhat helpful but I could tell she wasn't that excited to help me and seemed like she had better things to do both times when no one else was waiting.

Hands down sone of the worst customer service experiences my husband and I have ever had. The staff was rude to us the 3 times we went into the store to purchase glasses over a year and a half timespan. We blew off the first time thinking that it was just a bad day but the treatment continued. Most recently they wouldn't help him because they accused him of not paying for his last contacts, which they figured out they had it wrong in their system and were incorrect in their accusations. The staff is not friendly or helpful, which was extremely disappointing to us as we wanted to support

Our family has been coming to Maderia Optical ever since Dr Pence took over the practice. Dr. Pence has been very good with our teenagers. The office and staff are very welcoming. This last time we had Dr. Adams for my son and she was terrific with a not-so-contact-compliant teenage boy. Both Dr. Pence and Dr. Adams seek to understand the person and thus recommend what best fits them. We travel from the west side because we know we are getting the best eye care.

I had a wonderful experience at Madeira Optical. This was the first time I've had my vision tested in 15 years, so I wasn't sure what to expect. From the moment that I booked the appointment, through the consultation, I was treated like family. Being a novice, I found the process easy, with the added bonus that the employees were very nice and helpful.

As today was the second time I bought frames from Madeira Optical, I felt that a review was in order. (Please note that this is only for the glasses shop - I have not tried their optician.)
Unexpectedly, I have now a favorite "local" glasses store. Small and cozy, I never knew this place existed until two years ago, despite having lived near the area my whole childhood.
Their glasses selection is smaller than a chain store, but that is characteristic of "selection." For frames with character and without an alienating personality, this is a place to visit. Last time I was looking
