Goodside Grocery Co-op of Sheboygan is a food cooperative owned and operated by our members and managed by our board. Our mission is to provide local, sustainable, and ethically sourced foods to our community. By supporting neighboring farmers, you help keep dollars in your local economy. Locally-sourced products are also more nutrient dense than conventionally-farmed products.

Services
The small, member-owned grocery store moved to a neighboring building, on the corner of 8th and St. Clair in late fall 2015. It is through the continued support of the individuals that volunteer and community members who shop Goodside first that we are able to continue our mission of providing local, sustainable, and ethically sourced foods to our community.
A co-op, or cooperative, is a company that is owned by customers who invest in the business. While everyone can shop at Goodside, joining the Co-op gives you a unique opportunity to support and collaborate with your local Sheboygan community, while also receiving extra benefits!. This means you are part-owner of the co-op and allows you to vote in the co-op's decision-making, and gets you 10% off all grocery purchases!
The Co-op has room for all kinds of talents! Goodside Grocery & Food Co-op of Sheboygan needs everyone to take an active role to help us grow. Volunteers get access to special events & benefits: attendance to classes & workshops, a 20% discount on grocery purchases, and they demonstrate how to play a strong & active role in our community's development.

This is my local neighborhood co-op, and I couldn't love it more. OR the people who help run it!! Always the best service, and amazing products. And literally anything you need, and have issues locating? They will literally help source it. We look forward to our weekly trips as a family, the staff is always so kind to my small child. And I officially know, after months in Sheboygan, I won't be venturing anywhere else for my family's eggs, as long as they are standing with open doors. We enjoy shopping here and purchasing fresh food from local farms. It is great to have a local supply of the food we eat every day without having to take a trip every week to each farm and stock up.
Having moved to the larger location on 8th St, the co-op is able to hold more goods and have an even more impressive variety to choose from.
As always, you get what you pay for. We pay more for meat and other food here than we would at Walmart, but the food found here from local farms (Golden Bear Farms comes to mind) are of a much higher quality as well.

I was really excited to finally get to visiting Goodside Grocery. This is the co-op that was once in the back area of Paradigm. It's moved on to its own space down the road, and it is a lot nicer now. There's a lot more space, and it's better organized.
There's a wall of nuts and grains, freezers with meats and ice creams, and refrigerators filled with items to make any combination of vegans, vegetarians, and omnivores happy. There's a really neat amount of interesting items, and it's a good place to take a poke around.

I stopped by today to inquire and see what Goodside has to offer.
Very impressed and was pleased to hear they will be moving to a much larger location (across the street) in about a month.
Definitely becoming a member and possibly volunteering.
Want to support locally and buy some great natural foods.
