Competitive team is for athletes who wish to reach the next level in their gymnastics and compete. Athletes are invited to team based on their hard working positive attitude, listening skills, their gymnastics skill level and attendance. Athletes on team work on skills required to compete on trampoline, double mini trampoline and power tumbling.
We strive to help the athletes grow in their confidence as they learn new skills, grow as a teammate and push themselves and others to progress. Students who have reached a more advanced level are invited to these classes to continue and advance their skills at a higher level. More emphasis is put on the round offs, back handsprings, aerials, back tucks on the floor.

Services
At Sunflower Gymnastics we believe in teaching gymnastics in a positive, encouraging, challenging, and supportive environment. We strive to teach and challenge each student at their own level. Build self-esteem, promote self-confidence, build physical fitness, facilitate coordination development and encourage independence through the instruction of gymnastics.
All birthday parties are 1 1/2 hour long private parties, which includes 1 hour enjoying gymnastics activities and games and 1/2 hour in the private birthday party room. Party goers have an hour in our large climate controlled facility. We provide gymnastics instructors to lead the fun gymnastics activities and games.
Each team is required to provide a judge for every discipline in which they are entered. There is a $30 penalty per discipline when no judge is provided. Example. A team is competing in all three events, that club only supplies two judges. Penalty due would be $30. There will be a fee of $1 per athlete per event for which a judge is not provided for teams with less than 10 athletes attending the meet.
If you are a current customer or a returning customer with an account, you will need to log into your account to register for classes. If you have been gone for an extended period, we may need to pull your account from our archive and make it active again. For safety reasons for both the athlete and coach, we recommend, but do not require, leotards for the girls, shorts and tight t-shirt for the boys.
Sunflower Gymnastics is looking for highly motivated, reliable and energetic individuals to work with children of all ages and abilities as a gymnastics instructor. Instructors are responsible for coaching boys and girls from the beginning level through advanced, ages 20 months- adults.
Candidates should have a background in gymnastics, or other related sports, have experience working with children and have an understanding of the responsibility of such a position.There will also be a training period in which you will be trained by our coaches that have years of experience and learn all the ins and outs of the job.
