We have also observed that even people who do care are often poorly served by professionals who aren't thorough. If you care about the impact of your wealth and wisdom on your loved ones, we're here to help with our unique LifeSpan Planning Process.
We call it LifeSpan because we counsel together with client families over the remaining time we are given to develop, maintain, enhance, and ultimately carry out their plans to convey a lifetime of earned and learned wisdom along with their material wealth to future generations. Our clients do not all have large estates.

Curt is the founder and currently sole owner of the law firm called The Estate Planning Center. He started the firm in 1989 as a general law practice, but within a few years was concentrating his work in estate planning. In 1996 he was invited to join the National Network of Estate Planning Attorneys.
At The Estate Planning Center, we believe that a disciplined planning process is the only reliable way to bring about desired results. Other attorneys have suggested that we are a bit "unusual." We believe clients should make their own decisions and that those decisions must be based on accurate and complete information.
His 50 minute presentation to the family farm audience was entitled "Transition Planning: A Process, Not an Event." Farm families have three important things to transfer from one generation to the next: Opportunity, Control and Capital. Ferguson presented a Three Step Strategy for a transition plan that will work.
All of our clients start here, so they'll have a foundation of knowledge upon which to build. Most people have a little awareness of lots of bits and pieces of the estate planning puzzle, but few have a good view of the whole picture. That's what this workshop provides: accurate information so you can make informed decisions!
We ask all prospective clients to spend some time in an educational workshop prior to meeting with us in an individual appointment so that they can be better prepared for a meaningful discussion of their goals and objectives. The following is a description of our Client Orientation Workshops, offered at least monthly (see "Introductory Workshops" for dates).
