At age 13, my friends in the neighborhood were starting to mow lawns for extra spending money. After a few weeks they lost their motivation and gave up, but I saw a great idea and accepted the challenge myself. For the first year I mowed only a few lawns. Then over the next six years I grew my business to mowing almost 50 weekly lawns by myself.
During the next three years, people in the community were attracted to my commitment and passion for the work I did, and I increased the size of my business from mowing about 50 lawns to over 100 lawns. I evolved from simply being "the neighborhood kid" to running a business with commercial mowers, work trucks, and hired help.

We had worked with Walla Painting several years ago when we had a room of dark paneling painted - they did an excellent job and we knew if we had other painting projects we would hire them again. After our recent move, we reached out to Walla to come and do several bedrooms, bathrooms, and a large basement area. The estimate was done quickly and we were placed on the schedule and job started the week that was discussed. We had wallpaper removed and the walls painted in our rather long hallway that wraps thru our one story home. We also had our garage doors painted. We chose to have the work done while we were not in town which is always a little scary. However, Walla Painting came thru with flying colors. They were accurate with their scheduling and their painter showed up punctually every day. She would call us so we could disarm the alarm.

We had Walla Painting paint the exterior of our home. They did an excellent job. The estimator was very thoughtful and thorough in telling us what he recommended, the pricing and the timeline. The crew that did the work were prompt, courteous, hard working and very skillful in doing a professional job in priming, caulking and getting two coats of paint on in between rainy days of weather. I highly recommend them and will call them again in the future to do some inside painting for us.
