INTRAVIS GmbH was founded by Dr. Gerd Fuhrmann in 1993 and has been growing steadily ever since. Today the company is one of the world market leaders for vision inspection systems for the plastic packaging industry. We develop, manufacture and deliver turnkey inspection systems for manufacturers of closures, bottles, preforms, thin-wall containers and decoration.

While the preforms are being conveyed to the packaging unit, PreMon delivers real-time quality results of your transparent, translucent and opaque preforms. Due to its minimal footprint, the PreMon can easily be integrated between the injection molding machine and the packaging unit. The system combines a revolutionary massive parallel orientation technology with a preform monitoring concept.
The LayerWatcher simplifies and accelerates the inspection of barrier layers in PET preforms. In a non-destructive inspection process, the system fully inspects for the presence and the layer thickness of the barrier material. The preforms are given as a shot into the system and are identified by their cavity numbers.
