Ryan Spaulding has owned & operated Spaulding Stone since 2007. Ryan brought his passion for stone to the Fargo Moorhead area after working as a shop manager for a stone facility. After one year of operation he knew he needed someone else to handle the sales function of the business. Mitch Mayer joined the company in 2008; he brought with him many years of experience in the tile & stone countertop industry.
He continues to serve as the sales manager for Spaulding Stone. Together these two alone bring over four decades of experience in the stone industry. We believe in treating our employees right, to offer them a career, not just a job, so they can gain the experience needed in this industry. Because of that we have employees with many years of experience working with us today.

Services
We have worked nearly exclusively with Spaulding Stone since granite and quartz became such a staple in our industry. We have found them to be very accommodating to our business and our clients. Not only are they incredible with their response time to us as a business, they go above and beyond to make sure our clients are completely satisfied with the end product.
There are many names for the same types of finishes that material suppliers use to describe their finishes. We can provide almost any finish on almost any material. Not all finishes can be applied to all materials. Each material & color can react differently to the finish applied. Leathered finish leaves a soft shine which is less then polished and includes a textured finish.
SWI Interiors is thrilled to have partnered with Spaulding Stone for our stone needs for many years on a variety of projects. Everyone is always professional, helpful and a joy to work with no matter the scope of the project. Their biggest priority is always the end user, making sure they are happy and are always accommodating if there are questions that arise before, during & after installation.
Natural Stone From the Dimensional Stone Design Manual Chapter 17 section 8.2. For designs where material is overhanging past supports, " (2CM) material is limited to 6" & 10" for 1 " (3CM) material. This can be extended with the use of cantilevered metal supports, but the overhanging part of the material cannot exceed more then 1/3 the width of the countertop.
Spaulding Stone is based out of Moorhead, MN. Our company has been fabricating and installing custom stone projects since 2007. Our installers job is a crucial function in the process of providing excellence for our customers project. We install their project as if it was our own.

They put in a quartz countertop and undermount sink through Braaten Cabinets on an odd sized built in vanity on a bathroom remodel. Naturally... nothing square or straight on a remodel.. the countertop is an absolutely perfect fit all the way around. I can't believe it. The undermount sink was an extremely tight squeeze in the cabinet and had to be a perfect cut in the stone to fit centered, guess what? It's perfect. 5/5, you'll be getting a call when it comes time to do stone tops in the kitchen.
