A pediatric dentist is a dentist who specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of dental diseases and conditions of children, young adults, and the special-needs population. Pediatric dentists have received two-three additional years of graduate training and study of the growth and development of the mouth, teeth, and jaws of children and teenagers.
At our pediatric dental office, Dr. Meade Moore offers a variety of preventative and restorative care for children and teenagers. Located in Germantown, Tenn., parents can schedule appointments with us for these dental services. We believe that it is better to begin routine examinations at an early age to find potential dental health issues.
My son was terrified of the dentist after his last experience, but after he started coming to Dr. Moore's office, he is now excited about going! When my daughter knows it is time to come to your office, she is so excited she starts dancing. You have now done braces on my three chinldren. They look great and I appreciate the fact that Dr. Moore himself did the work instead of some offices where the assistant does most of the work.
It is easy to overlook how important teeth placement is for a developing child, which is something Meade Moore Dentistry practice stresses. The reality is that facial growth and development partly relies on the natural placement of your child's teeth. This is the reason the American Association of Orthodontists agrees that children should get an oral evaluation at the age of seven.
We know that some parents are more nervous about their child's first dental visit than their child. This is because many parents remember some of their bad experiences as a child in the dental office. Fortunately, pediatric dentistry is not like what you remember. Pediatric dentistry is so kid-friendly that most of our oldest patients do not want to leave our practice to start going to the parent's dentist.

I went to Dr. Moore throughout my childhood, even went through braces a few times. Dr. Moore and his staff are very nice and professional. Dr. Moore is very knowledgeable in his field and will come up with solutions to work for you. I would highly recommend him and his team to anyone looking for a Pediatric dentist.

Love, love, love Dr Moore and his entire staff - our kids have been seeing him for nearly 18 years now. He is professional, has terrific bedside manner and always provides excellent care. Two of our four kids had to do braces, and not how beautifully straight teeth. Just can’t say enough good things about him, thank you Dr Moore, Devon and team for being awesome!

I saw Dr. Moore my entire childhood and now take my daughter to see him as well. He is by far the best pediatric dentist in the MidSouth area! He is so patient and sweet— he genuinely cares about each and every patient. He’s very gentle and the atmosphere in his office is so cheerful and friendly! The hygienists are amazing and have always made my daughter feel comfortable as well. We love Dr. Moore!

We love Dr Moore and his staff! I went to Dr Moore from age 7-18 myself and now I bring my daughters to him as well. He is very knowledgeable, patient and kind. He and Jessie put my kids at ease and make going to the dentist a great experience! Devin in the front office always greets us with a warm smile and is very proficient at her job! We love it here 💜

Devin was helpful on the phone to schedule my son's first dental visit, and explained what to expect. She was just as nice in person as she was on the phone! The Hygentist, Jesse, was awesome too! She showed my son all of the tools she would use and explained them all to him. He really loved that part. Dr. Moore was so pleasant and told me more about what to expect at visits for the next few years and I liked that he takes the time to speak with the parents. A coworker referred Dr. Moore and if you are needing a first time dentist for your child I can't imagine that there is a better place in the
