POWER PLUS Engineering, Inc. was founded in 1986 and is a full service testing and maintenance firm that specializes in AC and DC electrical equipment and systems. RESA is a "Full Member In Good Standing" of the International Electrical Testing Association (NETA). POWER PLUS is signatory to IBEW Local 58 and long-time member of the Construction Association of Michigan (CAM).
Power Plus is a RESA Power Company. RESA is a NETA accredited company and has a qualified staff to handle all of your electrical distribution system requirements. The POWER PLUS AC Systems group specializes in the testing and maintenance of circuit breakers, transformers, switchgear, protective relays, meters and all other components of electrical distribution systems up to 345,000 volts.
The POWER PLUS DC Systems group specializes in repair and maintenance of Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems, testing and maintenance of stationary battery systems, inverters, rectifiers, Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS), and DC Power Bays for telecommunication applications. We can provide preventative maintenance programs on virtually all UPS and battery systems including on-site IEEE 450 capacity testing of batteries.
Since 1954, the POWER PLUS Transformer (formally ACE Transformer) Service group has specialized in transformer Insulating Fluid Sample and Analysis, 5-Micron Fluid Filtration services, Insulating Fluid Retrofill services, PCB Contamination Elimination and Disposal services, and On-Site Leak Repair services (including bushings, tap changers, fuses, gauges, and valves).
The POWER PLUS Cable group specializes in the maintenance of low, medium and high voltage primary electrical cables. Our experienced staff has the capability to splice any and all types of electrical cables. We specialize in Raychem splice kits and our company is Raychem certified. Certification with Raychem makes all splices with Raychem product eligible for a 10-year warranty.

They are a good group of guys with horrible communication. When they do get a hold of them they do great work but the problem is getting a hold of them. I usually have to call or email about 5-10 times before I even get a response. I am a very patient person but sometimes even my patience wears thin. I understand being busy since I am in Property Management but I think their customer service needs to get a tad bit better.
