Their insurance agency, first located in their home on Pine St. in Lewiston, ME, employed their daughter Diane, who worked part-time while in school. In 1977, she began to work for the agency on a full-time basis. During the first 15 years of operation, Champoux Insurance purchased eight separate agencies and grew their staff to 10 dedicated employees.
