Robert Cook, Founder, upon retiring, handed over management and operations to the three children to make sure it stayed a family owned business. Lorie is the Office Administrator, Tim is the Business Manager, and Brad is a Manufacturing Engineer. C.B.W., or by its original name, Cook's Blacksmith Welding Incorporated, started its early beginning in 1949.
Cook's traditional Blacksmith shop is a step back in time, creating items found in days gone by. Specializing in custom art and design as well as antique, heirloom repair. Our welding repair services cover a vast majority of customer needs, such as industrial, agricultural, commercial, residential and recreational, using the latest welding procedures and techniques.
Bobby "Toad" Cook is a veteran traditional blacksmith artist that has been practicing old school techniques and new processes for decades. His one of a kind art objects are showcased nationwide and displayed at ArtWorks Gallery in Big Rapids, Michigan, USA. Toad is continually working on unique projects in the Blacksmith Shop.
