After 33 years, Don Dickinson has made the decision to step down as owner and take on other roles in his life. Brandon and Arlene Makovsky have purchased IMR Inc. to continue to serve its customers. Brandon and Arlene are Prentice, WI locals and current owners of Makovsky Brush Service, LLC. The Makovsky family looks forward to continuing to serve and grow with IMR Inc. customers.
IMR is deeply rooted in research and innovation, and with that we have developed an industry first. We have solved a problem of time wasted on the railways when removing ties. Either railway workers would have to bring in a totally separate machine to remove ties, or use an inefficient grapple to remove ties.
It seems like it could not come fast enough! We are proud to announce that we have moved our fabrication facility to a new building. This new building is 120 ft x 60 ft, so the employees have more room than ever to tackle bigger projects. With a new work environment, it will bring new opportunities forth.
