Keene High School Project Graduation was started in 1986 by a group of parents who wanted to keep the seniors safe on graduation night. Statistics show that prom and graduation are the most dangerous nights in a teenagers lives. Our goal is simple, we provide a safe, substance free, graduation celebration for the graduates of Keene High School.
They come to Project Graduation at 9:30 pm and stay with us all night long. We provide games, activities, entertainment, food, tournaments, and the opportunity to make new friends. To host Project Graduation, we need to raise $25,000.00 to $30,000.00 each year. That seems like a lot of money for one night, but just saving one life makes it all worth while.

Services
We need help year round to plan the event, as well as lots of help the week prior to graduation. The night of Project Graduation we need approximately 100 volunteers just to run all of the activities. We use 2 volunteer shifts, 9 PM - 12:30 AM and 12:30 AM - 4 AM The hardest shift we have to fill is the 12 - 4 AM shift.
Project Graduation only does one fundraiser a year, Dancing With The Keene Stars (DwtKS). This fundraiser pairs a local community member with a "pro" dancer and they compete against each in a friendly dance competition. The audience votes on the winning dancers. It is a fun night for all, and raises most of the money needed to put on Project Graduation.
