The reason I do what I do is simple. I want people to have a life they love and freedom from the constraints that hold them back. Chances are you are living in the present based on outdated stories from your past. These recurring dialogues create more of the same in your almost surely predictable future.
Today's advances in technology make having a counselor as easy as turning on your computer! Online Therapy is a wonderful and convenient option for those too busy to schedule in person visits, someone new to therapy or those hesistant to meet with someone face to face. Online programs are typically based on cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT).
Anxiety is at an all time high. Due to the current state of our world, stress and worry over an uncertain future has mental health needs greater than perhaps ever before. If you've been thinking about trying counseling or considering change in your life but not sure if now is the time to start, now is the time to start.
A common trait I see among my clients and people I talk to who suffer with anxiety and panic is Sensory Processing Sensitivity. If you've always heard things like, "You're too sensitive" or "Why do you have to analyze everything?" When you ask someone a question do they get defensive when you were just curious about something?
An Emotional Support Animal (ESA) is a companion animal that provides therapeutic benefit to their owner. The concept of the emotional support animal might appear to some to be a recent phenomenon. However, animals have been used in human treatment since as early as the 1940s, when The American Red Cross helped veterans recover from their injuries by utilizing animals during the rehabilitation process.
