Blue Moon, you knew just what I was there for. Tucked away in a green vale sits Blue Moon Log Cabin. It looks like a scene out of a fairy tale; mature trees adorn the 110-year-old cabin's landscape, setting the mood for the getaway you imagined. As you step inside the log cabin, rich wood surrounds you.
Located on the south side of Yellowwood State Forest (halfway between Nashville and Bloomington), you'll find 2 Hearthstones is your gateway to the great outdoors. Right on the 5.7-mile Scarce O' Fat Loop Hiking Trail, you'll find yourself in the heart of the forest as you wind towards Yellowwood Lake.
This luxury log cabin comes with four bedrooms and three bathrooms and sits right outside Nashville, close to Lake Lemon, and moments from Bloomington. Stay and relax in the stylish log home featuring all your modern amenities, including two 4KHD televisions with satellite service, Blu-Ray DVD players, and high-speed internet (now featuring one gig speed)!
What is your minimum stay? We require a 2-night minimum except during major holidays when we require a 3-night minimum. What is the number of guests per cabin? Each reservation to a Moondance Vacation Rentals LLC cabin has a minimum guest requirement. If you exceed the minimum number of guests, the rate will increase according to the cabin.

We have used Moondance Vacation Homes twice now for stays in the Nashiville/Bloomignton area. The properties were both well maintained and made for a lovey base to relax and explore the area. I highly recommend using Moondance for your next trip to the area!

We truly enjoyed our stay at the Dogwood Hills Cabin in Nashville, IN while visiting friends in the area. Eric at Moondance was very helpful and quickly responded to all our questions. We did not take advantage of all the amenities provided - pool, spa, firepit etc. - it was just too COLD! The cabin was so nicely decorated perfect for cabin living, very clean, and comfortable. Everything was provided that we needed for a comfortable stay. I would certainly recommend this property to anyone visiting the area - in fact I want to visit my friends again but when its warm and I would definitely rent

We had a wonderful stay at Nature's Nest. We had two kids, two parents, and two grandparents. The set up with the bedroom downstairs was great for the kids and kept it quiet when we stayed up. The basement family room also gave them a quiet place to play before everyone else woke up. The porch swing and play set were favorites. The ground is pretty mushy (lots of moles) so we didn't use the sports equipment we brought, but we tromped through the woods and played games outside. The cabin is pretty well appointed and did have shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in each shower. Since it was Fall,

We stayed at Soaring Eagle cabin. The best thing is that it feels like you are the only people on the lake. It’s quiet and (because the water is shallow) there are no boats zipping about. There was a snowy egret nest out on the water that was amazing to watch. Bring binoculars! There are also bald eagles on the lake. The cabin is very comfortable (AC works great which was fortunate because it was pretty hot) but the patio is shaded enough that we were able to grill (gas grill) and eat outside. But there is also a nice sunroom downstairs with an equally lovely view where we had some relaxing time

We booked a few days at Soaring Eagle for our 10 year wedding anniversary. We were aware of the long drive back and boy was that an adventure. We didn't realize we booked our stay during stormy days but was very pleased with the amount of games they had there. We fished in between storms and caught several fish. We got to enjoy the hot tub for a short time and played a few rounds of pool. I would only recommend the cleaners look over the dishes. I had to clean every dish that I wanted to use. Lastly, the walk down the stairs from the car to the cabin was a bit much but we really didn't mind it

Creek side log cabin was just what we needed! My husband and I went here just to relax for a few days. Secluded and beautifully updated! I’m admittedly a spaz about cleanliness and brought my own supplies but this place was immaculate (Still wiped things down because like I said, spaz! 😂) also was so well stocked, we over packed with the cleaning and “home” supplies! Perfect place for a quiet get away from the hustle of life! The care that has gone into this old cabin is beautiful and the owners make it very clear how to contact them if there is anything you need!
