In 1971 Charles Nearhoof and John Woomer purchased a machine shop located on 8th street in Philipsburg from Paul Williams. The business was called Nearhoof and Woomer Machine. The products manufactured at the time were Belding and Mull shooting accessories, N&W muzzle loader accessories and repair of heavy equipment for the local coal industry.
Our CNC Milling and Turning Department allows us to offer quality products at competitive prices. The machines that we have on site give us a variety of machining ability from the small to large. These are examples of just a few of our jobs with turning, milling, boring and threading.
