In 2003, We left our franchisor to become our own independent company, at which time we branched out into commercial and residential fire sprinkler and standpipe installation and design, as well as pre-engineered chemical fire system installation, design, and service. In 1991, Station 1 Fire Protection started providing Title-19 5-year testing and maintenance of fire sprinkler and standpipe systems and quickly became recognized in the San Francisco Bay Area as a leader in high-rise fire inspections and 5-year testing and maintenance. I contacted this company after discovering one of the fire sprinklers in my house was leaking. It started off good. I spoke to the office manager, she said that she would contact the guys in the field and get back to me on when they can come look at the issue. I was pleasantly impressed and surprised when she called me back in about 10-15 minutes and said someone could come to my house within 45 minutes. She did not mention rates or emergency service calls, nor did she ask if I needed the work done right away. I assumed we would get an estimate for the work. My wife said the serviceman arrived
