Coolock Construction was started in 1988 by professional and passionate builder David McGrath. A native of Ireland, McGrath came to the United States from Coolock County, Ireland. After more than a decade as a successful contractor, David realized his dream of founding Coolock Construction in 1988.
Now, David is proud to be able to offer a suite of services that includes home building, remodeling, and consulting. He continues to bring both his attention to modern amenities and commitment to traditional construction to all client projects. Services
Kitchens are one of the most trafficked areas of the house. Coolock Construction has experience building and remodeling kitchens that represent a range of compositions. You deserve to be happy in your kitchen, and Coolock construction will make sure you love it. A well made home deserves a quality bathroom.
Coolock Construction is happy to provide estimates at no charge to the prospective customer. Estimates are, as the name suggests, estimated in the absence of unknown elements (such as the contours of the property and soil type). Estimates are intended to provide a rough idea to prospective clients concerning the overall project costs.
Proposals can be drafted for the consideration of a prospective client. Coolock Construction is happy to provide a design, building, or remodel proposal at a minimal cost to the client. Proposals are typically drawn up within a week, and result from a casual conversation in which the customer specifies his or her needs and vision for the project, providing photos and measurements where relevant.
The city of Boston features two (2) types of permits. The first (short form) permit is used for minor work without involving changes to the points of entry (for example, interior work). I needed to stay within my budget for my new addition. Thanks to David McGrath, the job supervisor, we went over budget by only $11. That was amazing. I could not believe how he insisted on keeping me informed with everything that was going on. What I thought would be a negative and stressful situation ( major renovation of my South End condo) has been anything but.
