Willow Mist's owners, the Kittles, are very friendly and seemingly kind people but kindness only goes so far. Their apartments suffer from a myriad of issues, chief among them being communication.
1. Communication with the Kittles themselves or their apartments manager is difficult at best. They are slow to return emails, phone calls, or any other form of outreach, sometimes taking up to a week or requiring multiple calls before they get back to you.
2. Unclear/Unfair lease agreements. My move out inspection form was given a perfect rating and described as "immaculate" in the words of the manager

Currently seeking legal action after they entered our home while we were moving out, after paying the whole months rent, and threw away our belongs. Then proceeded to keep our deposit. Multiple people have had issues when moving out, they do not treat people fairly and I would be cautious when renting from them.

Lived here a year and in retaliation for being late on rent during July Maintenance tampered with outside air unit causing us to be without air for 2 weeks this July. our calls for it to be fixed were ignored. also during this July 2 men, owner and maintenance, came into our home early morning while still in bed verbally threatening us to get out… or they would call our jobs and try to get us fired. There was not a pool during the summer nor was ground broke to begin the pool This is a big part of amenities. these are just a few highlights of our last few months there.

I lived at Willow Mist for nearly 5 years and was sad to move. I always felt safe and any concern was immediately dealt with. The owners treated their residents as if they were family. When we had a baby girl, the owners were sure to make sure we had everything we needed and made us feel as if we were extended family. My neighbors were always respectful and in 5 years, we never had any issues. The reviews speaking about lack of maintenance concern and owners not caring is baffling to me. I strongly believe some people will never be happy. I know for a fact my neighbors would say the same about

The Willow Mist Condos is fabulous! I lived here in 2017-18 and would have stayed much longer, but moved out of state for work. The neighbors are friendly and the neighborhood is peaceful, charming, and filled with roses, flowering trees and chirping birds in Springtime. My unit was beautifully renovated with a brand new deck, solid wood flooring,… new cabinets, fresh paint and granite countertops. It's so close to downtown and convenient shopping. Most of all, I appreciate the wonderful landlords and maintenance team for making my stay so memorable. Such kind and wonderful people. Thank

Slow to respond to repair request it seems all they cared about was the money people from outside neighrhood constantly used amenities compactor may or may not work garbage pied up at times some units flooded during heavy rain most units had no gutters in front a d when it rains you get soaking wet going in or out they advertise washer/ dryers in unit not so all they have are coin operated units at pool and pool is not kept clean it turns nasty Green in winter there are better places in Athens for same cost with landlords that do care Willow mist only has 1 maintenance man and he is stretched to

I was a tenant for 3 years. Started off great, but the landlords are slow to respond to concerns. My living room flooded on several occasions and they didn't bother to fix it until the month when I was preparing to move out. Then I asked them to do a walkthrough, but hey failed to come by or even leave me a checklist to go over before moving out. Then after moving out they charged me $150 per room for painting when the lease agreement stated that I would only be charged $50 per room. I tried contacting them about the deposit, but they refuse to answer me. Very bad business practice.

We lived here for almost three years. Ronny and Terri (landlords) and Clay (maintenance) are the best people and take their stewardship of Willow Mist Condos seriously. Not only do they care about the units, but they care about the lives that they hold. I recommend Willow Mist highly and without reservation. Southern Hospitality at its best! Quiet,… family friendly neighborhood. You are in a secluded neighborhood. The officer on site is an added bonus to help you feel safe if that is even a concern and the fact that CCPD is just a minute away. Great amenities: basketball, tennis court, sandpit

My wife and I lived their for nearly 2 1/2 years and had a great experience with the property managers and workers. It's a great location in east Athens, near UGA and downtown Athens, and accessible to the "Loop". If you are a graduate student, married couple with kids, or enjoy a nice neighborhood/community setting, then Willow Mist is the place for you.

Willow Mist is by far my favorite place that I have ever lived in Athens. The community recently went through a renovation from top to bottom and it is apparent the owners really care about the community. I see them almost every day, responding to calls, working on units that are being renovated, or simply walking the grounds to keep the community looking great. Each unit is extremely spacious and feels like your own home. Every unit has a nice front yard and back yard area. My wife was thrilled to be able to have a flower garden. The floor plan is awesome and the wood burning fireplace is a huge

Today I was there for a visit, thinking of moving there. The Owner was a doll, she was very attentive and helpful. It seems as if she cares deeply for the residents and the property. I would totally suggest moving here, because I am. The property was very quiet and well kept. The condos are going thru complete renovation..Luv it...its worth taking the time to visit.
