A lakeside family cabin resort located in Lawton, Michigan, Happy Rock Resort was established fifteen years ago. Since then, we have upgraded and improved many aspects of our little slice of heaven to now include nearly 2 acres of pure Michigan solitude.
Our private rental cabin accommodations include plenty of parking and shaded relaxation areas, as well as outdoor Weber gas grills, community fire pit, and 8' aluminum picnic tables for every rental unit.And, of course, that's not all. Gravel Lake, an all sports lake, consists of nearly 300 acres located in Lawton, Michigan in the Southwestern part of the state.
Gravel Lake is home to enough herons, cranes, and swans to keep any avid bird watcher busy. An bald eagle sighting is fairly common, and many other types of wildlife are present throughout our beautiful slice of Southwest Michigan. Along with fishing, water sports activities, and annual events, you can also take advantage of the surrounding local towns for a smorgasbord of fun tings to do.
For your closest local dining, the village of Lawton is located on M-40, four miles south of I-94 (exit 60). This quaint and friendly little gem represents small town Americana and welcomes those seeking inland lake recreation and winter sports. While Lawton may pride itself on not having a single traffic light, its Main Street is the home of many restaurants surrounded by vintage Victorian homes, vineyards, and fruit orchards.
