Hennepin Marine opened its doors all the way back in the 1960's in the small town of Hennepin, IL along the Illinois River.
Our service department offers a complete engine and drive train service, Fiberglass Repair, and Storage. We offer complete service on Mercury and MerCruiser products. We also offer installation of boat accessories and electronics, trailer repairs and trolling motor repairs. With a large, on-hand inventory of parts, we minimize your downtime.
Adam joined our team in 2020 in our sales department. He has a great knowledge of fishing through his experience with the Illinois Walleye Trail and is a avid outdoorsman. He is very familiar with. Stephen joined the Hennepin Marine team in 2018. With a good mechanical background, Stephen looks forward to growing with our service department.
Hennepin Marine has a well stock of Mercury and MerCruiser parts that we carry in stock to get you back on the water in no time! Hennepin Marine can also get parts for Minn-Kota Trolling Motors and Mud Buddy Mud Motors. We also have parts available for other brands of motors by Sierra. Very friendly, honest, and knowledgeable staff. Highly recommended. Now 3 years later, must add, the used 1999 Monterey we purchased there has not given us a bit of trouble. Awesome boat. They informed us they replaced the baffle, and we have had no more than a cup of water in our bilge. The friendly, knowledgeable, and professional staff, are the best. Next boat we buy, will probably be purchased there. You just can't beat total honesty.

My wife and I are retired and wanted to purchase a significant boat upgrade from what we currently had to serve for both fishing and recreation for ourselves, our children & grandchildren. We purchased a Bennington Pontoon. The owners were phenomenal! They were very helpful and take their time to help you. Ion delivery, they spent several hours showing us features on the boat and how to drive it. Everyone working there is extremely helpful and knowledgeable! Highly recommend them for your boating needs!

Can't say enough about what a great experience I had with my new Lund from Hennepin. Everything from the initial contact with Rich to picking up the new boat was first class. Rich was straight forward with negotiating the value of my trade and with getting me the new boat I wanted for a fair price.
At pick up, everything was ready to go, the paperwork was all organized and I was in and out in under an hour. Everyone was more than willing to answer any questions I had and make sure I was comfortable with the boat before I left.

Recently purchased my first boat and I can't imagine having done it anywhere other than Hennepin Marine. As a first time buyer, the entire staff made the process comfortable and enjoyable. I'm not the review type but this needed to be said. They were nice when I purchasedhover that all went away when had some minor issues with the boat and they acted like they were doing me a favor to fix it. Brought it back for rigging and service and found they nicked gouged and scratched my and offered to send caulk and touch up paint. My trolling motor failed after 3 months of use and found out it was not the version of the motor I had specified when I bought the boat and was a several year old version. They told me if I felt they owed me a new motor they would replace it but I should go elsewhere
