Growing lush and healthy vegetation in the desert can be challenging. Metered city water is costly, and drip lines and sprinklers are not effective for deep root watering, limiting the potential for your plant's root system. Desert soils can be void of essential nutrients and minerals, leading to drainage issues and poor plant health.
A lot of homeowners in the Valley of the Sun are finding that the most effective way to create their desert oasis is through the tried and true method of flood irrigation. By using Salt River Irrigation's Organic Soil Conditioning and Flood Irrigation services you can experience a healthier lawn without any of the hassle.

Soil is an essential element in the flood irrigation process. Healthy soil is full of enzymes, nutrients, micro-organisms, nitrogen, sugars and proteins. It is literally a microscopic ecosystem that, when functioning properly, facilitates aeration, absorption, root expansion, and creates an all-around healthy environment for your plants' root systems.

Our irrigation ditch was in bad shape and in need of some repairs. After some research, we reached out to Salt River Irrigation. Nate came out right away and
discussed our options. We ended up redoing the system and going with a buried pipe vs the open irrigation canal. Nate got us an estimate right away and answered all of our questions. We couldn’t be happier with the work they did. Communication and scheduling were great. The crew that showed up were very professional and knowledgeable. We are very happy we went with them and would highly recommend them to anyone who is looking.

Nate came out to my house on the same day I called and spent over an hour with me answering all of my questions about the pipe leaks and broken gate. Their quote was more than reasonable, and their workers were very attentive, polite, and efficient. I would recommend their services to anybody who needs repairs to their flood irrigation system.
