Tendonitis pain is one thing that keeps many people from participating in sports, as it tends to get worse after a workout. Whether you're an avid runner or simply enjoy a brisk walk every now and then, tendonitis does not have to slow you down. Sean C. Hodson, DPM, FACFAS will quickly diagnose your problem and provide you with a treatment plan that will have you up and running again in no time.

Tendonitis will only get worse as time goes on, which is why you should seek treatment at the first sign of trouble. Neuropathy is a condition whereby certain nerve endings fail to signal pain. When it occurs in the feet, it is known as peripheral neuropathy, and most often affects diabetics. In fact, it is a contributing factor to the high rate of amputation among diabetics.
Services
Sean C. Hodson, DPM, FACFAS comes from a strong medical family. His grandfather was a primary care physician, Father is a retired Podiatrist in Panama City, Mother is a retired Dental Hygienist, and his Sister is a Pediatric Ophthalmologist at Nemours Hospital in Jacksonville. Dr. Hodson has learned growing up in a medical family, that bedside manner is of utmost importance when treating people and their feet.
Here at White Sands Podiatry, we provide a number of services to our patients in and around the Destin, Florida area. In addition to treating conditions of the feet and ankles, we also perform diagnostic testing, outpatient surgery and the ordering of custom fitting diabetic footwear. Whatever your needs are, you'll find all of them can easily be cared for at one of our many Northwest Florida clinic locations.
I love these people. I had prayed to find the perfect foot doctor and lo and behold I find Dr. Hodson on the internet. All his staff is wonderful, thorough, professional and kind. The surgery went perfect and I could not be happier with these God-sent folks! Hodson is so amazing, he healed a diabetic ulcer wound on the side of my foot beautifully.
When it comes to preventing foot problems, nothing is quite as important as hygiene and grooming. Good foot hygiene and proper grooming of the toenails can help you avoid everything from athlete's foot to ingrown toenails. If you have foot problems, simply bathing them is not enough, as you could need to use additional foot products to keep them in tip top condition.

I can’t recommend Dr. Hodson and his staff enough. They have been nothing but excellent!! Dr. Hodson listens but is very straight forward and gets everything done that day instead of waiting and having me return. Love this place and they make me comfortable and let’s just say I’m terrified of any and all doctors!! Thank y’all!!

I am an athlete and have had many toe nail issues from frequent starting and stopping. Easily treatable with non invasive remedies. Dr. Hodson was hasty with the decision to remove my entire toe nail due to a hematoma. Zero explanation of the amount of pain post toe nail surgery and no guidance re: healing time, post op care, etc.

Great explanations of the problem & then how to avoid further discomfort by doing simple exercise.

We had a fantastic experience at White Sands Podiatry. My son has me a terrible ingrown toenail that was extremely infected. They got us in immediately & took great care of him.

My experience with Dr. Hodson was phenomenal from start to finish. Foot surgery is no joke!! He stressed the importance of following his post-surgery instructions and it paid off. I was on my feet and in a shoe in 4 weeks. I was on the golf course in 6. Whatever you do, follow his instructions, it makes a HUGE difference. He informed me that another client had the same surgery as me on the same day; while I'm playing golf, the other patient is still in a boot. Good Luck!!!

I have so much respect for Dr Hodson. He explains everything in a way you can understand. He is very down to earth. And his approach is very conservative...not anxious to spend your most money! Did surgery on one foot in 2013. He said the other foot was not as bad and said he would not do surgery on it. Six years later the other foot had gotten to the point of surgery. Second surgery went as well as the first!
