Greater Georgia Printers, Inc. was formed in 1969 when five newspaper publishers joined forces in an effort to pool resources. The papers were converting from hot-type letterpress printing to cold-type offset printing technology and were having problems finding a suitable vendor to perform this service.
Coil Binding provides your book a polished look. It consists of a plastic spiral that is applied to the binding edge of the book. Coil Binding books lay flat when closed and can can be folded open to allow you to hold your book with one hand. Our other popular binding option is Wire Binding. Wire Binding is similar to Coil Binding, the only difference is that it features a wire applied to the binding edge of the book instead of a spiral.

We offer full service design, including composition and layout to meet your demands or we can work with your existing files whether created on a Mac or PC platform. We work with the prevalent software such as InDesign, illustrator, Photoshop etc. but can accept files in Pagemaker or Publisher to meet your needs.
