Elliott Machine Shop began serving Middle Georgia Industry in 1975, in a 4,000 square foot building that is now largely incorporated as office space. In 1975 there were five employees, including A.V. and Stanley Elliott. For the first several years all outside sales were handled by A.V., while Stanley ran the shop.
