The Beachwood Resort is a peaceful resort located in the quiet town of Copalis Beach in Washington State The property is surrounded by lush evergreens and serene wildlife. There is a natural path that leads over our pontoon bridge towards our privately own beach; it is only about a four-minute-walk.
Located in a lush, temperate rain forest far from the bustle of city life; and is just a four minute walk away from the beach. Free parking available to all guests near their room, no preset parking slots and no need for parking reservations. We are a non-smoking resort, you have a heater in your room (no air-conditioning), we have a viewing tower and a private path to the beach.
The contract's lengths can vary from three to six months, all the way to one to three years! On our property we have a hot tub, two dry saunas, a seasonal pool (open in the summer), and a direct path to the ocean. The rooms we will have open are our regular condos- which have one bedroom, a kitchen, living room, and bathroom.
Our property is perfectly set to accommodate family reunions and small weddings. We have a capacity of 76 for our rooms, and possibly more with advanced notice. Along with this, if called in advance, the planner can rent out our entire property for a discounted rate!

You will most likely spot a whale during the months of March, April, and May along the Copalis Beach coast. The Gray Whale makes one of the longest migrations of any known mammal. Every year they swim roughly 10,000 miles in total to the warm Mexican waters to breed and raise young; all the way back to their arctic feeding grounds.

What a lovely beach getaway! The front office lady was very kind upon our arrival and our room felt very homey and comfortable. Also clean! The kitchen had all the amenities you need to cook. The room had an electric fireplace which was so cozy. Super close walk to the private beach and great opportunity to go clamming without the busyness of the public beaches. Would come again and again!!

We stayed here during Labor Day Weekend. The staff was very polite and helpful. We felt very comfortable. We loved the pool, game room and short walk to the beach.
While there I lost my phone. I was very impressed with their communication and updates on where my phone was. They looked in all of the areas I thought it would be, but wasn't found. They even posted signs to say a guest had lost their phone and if found, to please turn it in. After I thought it was gone forever, they called and said a guest had found it on the beach. They mailed it back, bubble wrapped and didn't charge for me the

While looking for a quick beach getaway, I found Beachwood Resort on Booking.com and booked right after seeing the photos here!
However - I suggest booking straight through their site, as I had some issues with Booking - the staff at Beachwood was super kind and helped me navigate those issues and corrected it on their end which was appreciated as well.
This place is super cute. It's at Copalis Beach, about 10 minutes from downtown Ocean Shores area, and it's a great option if you're looking to come up for a day or two.

While our friends were staying at Beach Wood’s for the weekend two weeks ago, we had an amazing time and it’s definitely a beautiful resort property in Copalis Beach. While the trails to the beach are unique and a peaceful setting and the rooms are also a great amount of space, we did have our complaints and would like to reiterate what our friends said about the property during their stay.

Staff/owners were friendly and helpful, however that is where the positivity ends. We arrived well over an hour and a half after the 3pm check in time and our room was not ready. So we walked around the grounds to find a discarded toilet in one area, a dead fridge and a generator in another. The clubhouse and exteriors of the buildings are in desperate need of updating and maintenance. The lawn is dead and full of prickly weeds and broken picnic tables. At this point we opted not to stay and asked for a refund. We were given one immediately without any issue.

The owner was very friendly and accommodating. Our child got sick and we had to leave 1 day early and they provided a full refund of the last night, which was awesome. The apartment was clean and walk distance from the beach. We had a lot of fun in the pool and hot tub. They also have a huge selection of DVDs for the rainy days. Will definitely come back!

Nice and quiet place. Staff and owner are very friendly and welcoming their guests. Has a swimming pool and a hot tub. Beach is within walking distance.
We went there for a multi-day stay for a razor clam trip. They surprised us with a dedicated cleaning bench, which is awesome!

Words cannot describe how disgusting this place was. Checked in for Memorial Day weekend late night. Opened the door to the room 6 and was immediately hit by the overwhelming mold smell. After several minutes of searching I finally located it in the bathroom. When I looked up the whole ceiling was scattered with black mold. I returned to the front desk who was on the phone, she couldn't even be bothered to help, feigned a look of fake surprise to hear there was mold, and simply told us she would refund our money. This place was great. Now if you are coming to the Washington Coast expecting 5 star accommodations, or even 4 for that matter, keep moving, this is not going to be the place for you and you should probably just skip Ocean Shores and the Washington coast in general, you won't find it here.
That being said, this place is about 10 minutes outside of the main hub of Ocean Shores which makes a nice getaway but close enough for food and "tourist" traps.
There is a trail from the property that leads directly to the beach. It is a 5-10 min walk maybe. The beach area is so quiet, peaceful

· I wish I could say we experienced this facility but we were turned away upon arrival after booking a pet friendly rental for the weekend of August 28th. After driving for four hours, looking forward to celebrating our wedding anniversary, the owner did not have a room for us. Claiming all the pet friendly rooms were taken. We had confirmed with the owner one week prior that our two small dogs were coming, in addition to noting it on our reservation. She only offered to have our dogs sleep outdoors! Myself, my husband, our 1.5 year old son and two dogs were left stranded with nowhere to go and

Stayed there for two days week of 8/10/20. Customer service is great, rooms are pretty clean (suggest bringing your own sheets), beach access is good, area is quiet. Not sure why price is so high. Older buildings, and maintenance needed on the rickety bridge crossing the slough to the beach. Public safety issue.

First thing...the owners are really, really nice. The pool is pretty nice too. However, this might have been a resort in the 70's, but definitely not now. Our room had a seriously broken down couch, even worse bed that literally sunk into a V shape in the middle, and even though no one had showered there was condensation on the inside of the windows in the living room. We actually asked for a refund because we were going to leave after the first night, but they offered us another room. The second was definitely better, and bigger with a little dining room table with 2 chairs and a closet in

They overcharged my card and I was told MULTIPLE times I would be getting a check in the mail and nothing he just played games I have all the texts to prove it. I see other people have had this issue... so if you want to be overcharged and SCAMMED do not stay here.

Great resort! Very friendly and cozy place. Nice and quiet. Would recommend if you are staying to get away for a few days. Not a far walk from the beach and not a far drive from Ocean Shores. They have pet friendly rooms so you can bring your fur baby as well. No breed restrictions. Just make sure they are trained. Worked well for us since we own a pitbull. They could use a few new upgrades but other than that everything else was great.

First off, for all the people who gave this place a less than stellar review, have you all been to the Washington coast before?? This is not like California, nor Oregon even. The coast in this state is economically depressed and sparsely settled.
So if you want fancy with everything just-so, go to Seabrook. Beachwood Resort is what I would describe as charmingly divey. We are a family of 4 plus pooch, and this place was perfect for us. Terrible customer service, dirty unorganized facilities. We were harassed by staff members. The water stunk the WiFi didn't work. Way over priced!
They had over booked and given us a tiny room but we were charged the same price after being told "well they are all the same price now" we were told one thing about visitors that per their "policy" our visitor "could stay until 9pm" which was totally reasonable. The next day we were told we "would be charged and extra $35 per hour we had a visitor according to their policy" by the way they have NO posted

Resort? I don't think so! This place was laughable. It is no surprise that they have not had a truly good review since early 2015. There must have been an ownership change given the previous reviews seemed decent prior to 2016. I am not sure what happened. No business owner I know would count on inflicting intentional confusion to get a booking. The rates seemed to be at the last minute whim of the manager. There is no need to agree on a price...it will change. Be warned...the common areas were a mess. The game room had a dart board that was from a cereal box. The shuffleboard table

I saw a review about owners being on site... I'm here during 8/2014 and the owners are in the office until 9pm or later. We asked for towels and TP and they gave us a giant sack of everything we could imagine. We just got married at their solarium tower and it was perfect.
QI'm excited to come back, they offer a lot here and are so friendly. I was concerned about this place at first, I'm a very critical person, but its ended up being amazing.
