Services
Once the Intent to Enroll Form is submitted we will email you with further information and instruction. Beginning of school year enrollment remains open until early October. We go to a lottery in early March if total number of students who wish to enroll is larger than available spots in a grade level at that time.
The AHS Career and College Department supports students and families in 9th through 12th grade to help students identify and prepare for the career and college path that is the best fit for them. Our rigorous curriculum ensures that all students are prepared for college and we are proud that 100% of our graduates are accepted into a college of their choice.
In their first year at AHS, all students create a Digital Portfolio (DP), a website that reflects their individual career and college goals and showcases examples of their academic work. DPs are used to provide evidence of growth and learning in Presentations of Learning and are valuable tools when applying for internships, jobs and college admission.
Student activities provide great leadership opportunities for our students and allow them to pursue their interests and passions with peers who share them. AHS students have many extracurricular activities to choose from, and we encourage them to start groups and clubs when they don't already exist.
AHS Student Council is dedicated to increasing student voice among our school and community and encourage positive school culture. We strive to make our school a fun, engaging, supportive environment where students feel comfortable voicing their thoughts and opinions. We are here to serve the students -- this includes attending school board and committee meetings, organizing school-wide events, and more.
