We are so grateful to have been blessed by many wonderful people that surrounded us this past year and a half! We say that time and time again. So many stuck with us through the constant changes and modifications the pandemic brought, it was mind boggling We forged on and with the love and support from our families, friends and an amazing dance family here we stand!

From the first year preschooler skipping all by themselves, to the graduating seniors closing a chapter of their life, we want them to have a wonderful experience in class, on stage and build memories that will last a lifetime!

Services
Evolution Dance and Performing Arts Academy believes that being involved in competitive dance at an early age develops positive self esteem, confidence, accountability, and leadership in young dancers. In our program, dancers have the opportunity to perform for large crowds and compete against many other teams from all over the country.
Morgan is a 2014 graduate of Montclair State University with a BA in English Education and a minor in Journalism studies. Aside from teaching, dance has always been one of her most evident passions, having spent just over 20 years training in the studio. While in college, Morgan was a member of the Montclair State Dance Company, serving as the Vice President of the student-run organization for two years.
Driven by passion, Asha Griffith is way more than a tap dancer, but an International Rap artist, songwriter, and all around creative force. This Rutgers alumnae started tap dancing at 5 years old and pre-professionally at 16. She had the pleasure of dancing with Dorrance Dance, Maurice Chestnut's: Beats, Rhymes, & Tap Shoes, Chloe Arnold's NYC based company-Apt 33 & Syncopated Ladies.
Evolution is fully dedicated to providing all ages and abilities an encouraging environment to foster a love of movement through dance and performing arts. We offer the highest quality dance training, regardless if dance is for recreation and fitness or a future career. We encourage all of our students to achieve their fullest potential and support their personal growth inside and outside of the studio.
At Evolution, a member of our family has been in the fire service for over 30 years. We understand and appreciate the time, dedication, honor, and sacrifice that is made on a daily basis by first responders and their families. As a way of saying "Thank You", we offer all first responder families and military families (immediate family) a 15% off discount on tuition.

I absolutely love this school. I was new to the area and googled a few schools and I reached out to different schools and they got back to me the same day. Honestly, the communication has not let up since. It really has a family feel to it . Everyone is so nice even during COVID where they strictly socially distance you can still feel the kindness. The first responders discount was in place before covid and as a nurse it is really great to be appreciated.
My daughter was diagnosed going into a new season of dance and everyone was so understanding and dance has really helped my daughter with listening

Evolution is a place where you get an honest dance education. The experience the teachers have outweighs a lot of other places. The training my daughter is receiving is top notch! Because of the amazing training she has received, she was asked to perform her tap dance at Wednesday night Amateur night talent competition at the world famous Apollo Theater in NYC! Check out this place its awesome!
