I maintain an active real estate business in several communities on Chicago's North Shore in Cook and Lake Counties. As a Member of the Lake County Board of Review for nine years, I gained a well-grounded understanding of the relations among levy, assessment, tax rate and property tax, of major importance to all property owners.
