She created cakes for family and friends which thankfully allowed her to learned the trade. She now has an incredibly talented staff that are classically trained pastry chefs & cake artists. Nicole and Jacquie (The Cake Lover's), created the most beautiful cake for our wedding. The cake was so delicious and decadent, and they truly captured the look we wanted. Our guests were so very impressed with the look and flavor and we received so many compliments. The Cake Lover's are truly talented in what they do and they were so very professional and kind during the entire process. I would recommend their work for any event.

Our twins celebrated their first birthday and we were on the hunt for a bakery to make us a Moana cake. I e-mailed The Cake Lovers bakery with my idea for the cake and they were amazing to work with. They were very quick to provide me with an estimate and worked with me on designing a cake that fit within our budget. The final product was an absolute masterpiece! We received so may compliments on not only the design but the delicious taste! I can't wait for our older daughter's birthday to see what they come up with next! Highly recommend!

I needed a cake with "wow factorX for our board of directors meeting and I needed it with a 24 hour turnaround on the week between Christmas and New Years. And I asked for a Flamingo or palm tree if possible. I asked a lot. But boy, did they deliver! And the cake tasted as good as it looked. Friendly and professional service. Easy parking/pick up.

We received countless compliments on the cake for both visual and tasting reasons. The cake was absolutely delicious. It was moist, flavorful, and one of the best cakes I’ve honestly ever had. I’ll definitely be using them again for special occasions as we will be moving to the area soon! My daughter typically does not eat sweets and dislikes them but she kept grabbing my plate for more. Yes, Yes, Yes! The Cake Lovers are out of this world AMAZING! I have continued to order my cakes and cookies from them and they are consistently a 10 out of 10. They were referred to me by a friend and I confidently refer them to others. The cakes are equally gorgeous & delicious. We live in NC, but most of our family is in South FL. We decided to celebrate my daughter’s 16th birthday in FL. The only issue we encountered was how to order a cake for the event without seeing it. The Cake Lovers used the photo that my daughter found and the simple explanation that I e-mailed to them and created something that she, my daughter, was absolutely in love with. They did an excellent job and I will definitely use them again. We will also recommend to family and friends. The cake was a success. 😊

I ordered an artisan cake from The Cake Lovers for my daughter's 27th b-day. All communications/order were done online due to COVID 19. I must say, the process was very easy and instructions were very detailed.
I picked the cake up as scheduled. It was totally what I was looking for- not to mention, the taste!!! Let me tell you, moist, and flavorful, not too sweet.

Everything I have purchased from the shop has exceeded my expectations - as delicious as they are beautiful. The ladies are always kind, courteous and smiling. I tried to hold back from ordering cupcakes on Father's Day but just couldn't resist when there were two more packs left in the shop. The cake has a wonderful texture, flavor and density. Each flavor icing complemented the cake perfectly. Decorated and presented exquisitely, The Cake Lovers boxes are a wonderful little treat to add to any celebration!

These ladies know how to make cake! 3 of my family members had birthdays in May so I wanted to do something nice while we were visiting Ft. Lauderdale and I turned to Yelp and they did now disappoint!
They outdid themselves and even beat out the cake shown in the example I sent them. Not only was the cake(made from cupcakes) beautiful but, it was moist and the icing was perfect as well.
The ladies loved it just us much as I did and I'll use them again if I'm ever back in the area.

We had a cake and cupcakes made for our son's Baptism and they were the BEST ever! The cake looked exactly like the inspiration picture I sent. The cake and cupcakes were so moist and the flavors were tremendous. Not to mention, they were so easy to work with! We had to reschedule a few weeks ago and they were so understanding and kind. We are so overly happy about finding this place and look forward to going back for our son's first birthday treats!

I'm from out of state and needed two cakes for a birthday celebration. We ordered a butter vanilla and red velvet, they did not disappoint. My husband and his brother are super picky about their cake, these hit ever mark possible. They were moist, flavorful, perfect size, and decorated just like we requested. The shop was super helpful and friendly. If you are looking for a well made cake that tastes delicious and offers good service- this is your spot. I would definitely recommend them and will order from them again if I am in the area.

While I have nothing but positive things to say about this bakery, I do want to mention that the physical location can be a little hard to find. There's no street level sign and the logo on the storefront is small and only on the window. Basically I would recommend driving by a few days before your pick up date to make sure you have a good idea of where you're going.
That being said this place is definitely 5 stars. They offered great communication, paid attention to every detail when it came to my inspiration picture, and like the other reviews mentioned the cake looked good AND tasted

Even though I am quarantined for my 30th birthday, I still wanted to order something special. I'm not a huge cake fan so I decided to place an order of 6 Rice Krispies and 6 pretzels. They are beyond my expectations. They are girly and cute & exactly what I wanted. Not to mention when I placed the order on the phone, I was all over the place and couldn't get a cohesive thought on how I wanted it decorated. The woman I spoke to was very friendly and helped me the best way she could. Everything was done timely even a with week's notice.

Special requested a cake for my boyfriend's birthday and didn't have a chance to taste test since I'm in another state and we were celebrating with his family in Florida. I was worried to see the cake in person and I was worried about how the cake would taste because we ordered a chocolate flavored cake and not everyone can make a good cbut I must say that the cake design was exactly what I asked for chocolate cake HOWEVER the cake design was exactly what I asked for and the cake tasted amazing- it was moist, it wasn't strong, it had such a subtle chocolate flavor to it along
