Baker Eye Care is proud to have cared for the sight of Iron Mountain and surrounding communities since 1975. Our office, was founded and run by Dr. Robert Baker since April of 1975, in Iron Mountain Michigan. Prior to this time the office was occupied by Dr. Dan DeLangis for a period of about 30 years.
The goal of our doctors and staff is to provide comprehensive eye care of the highest quality and to serve each patient with compassion and understanding. Dr. Dane Baker, O.D. is an Iron Mountain native who obtained, with honors, his BS degree from The University of Michigan-Ann Arbor. He then completed optometry school at Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona California where he graduated with distinction and numerous academic and clinical awards.

Dr. Dane Baker is an excellent optometrist! He's very passionate in what he does and it shows. Dr. Dane goes above and beyond for all of his patients. He's very knowledgeable and thoroughly explains to you anything that is going on with your eyes, which is very reassuring. Optometrists I've went to in the past have never explained anything to me.
I highly recommend him if you're looking for an optometrist. You won't be disappointed!!

Dr. Dane Baker is a wonderful person to work with! He took time to explain why I have a lazy eye and have had it since I was little. I have been going to an eye doctor since I was 2 and never have they ever tried to explain to me what a lazy eye actually is. He is very informative and truly cares about his patients!!

My experience with Baker Eye Care was amazing. The entire atmosphere of the office alone completely puts you at ease like everything is going to be ok. The professionalism from te receptionists to the Doctors is really outstanding. It feels so good to go to an office where they treat you as a person instead of just another patient. They really make you feel welcome and taken care of. I'd recommend Baker Eye care over anyone ANY day of the week!
