Physical activity helps you live longer and prevent many chronic diseases, such as heart disease, high blood pressure, abnormal blood lipid (cholesterol and triglyceride) profile, stroke, type 2 diabetes, metabolic syndrome, and colon and breast cancers.
The effects of ice on a body part reduce circulation, provide an analgesic effect, and slow the collection of edema in an acute injury. A combination of ice, compression, and elevation should exclusively be used within the first three days of an injury's onset. This provides vasoconstriction, pain relief for damaged nerve endings, and a reduced inflammatory response.

She is a member of The Functional Institute for Functional Medicine and practices Functional Medicine for both men and women.

Outstanding--caring, professional and knowledgeable. Every person at Intrahealrh is friendly and kind. I've had great results with tendinitis here, and this is partly because of in office care and partly through well designed at home exercises that keep me tuned up. Also when I have the occasional tweak I get fast relief. Each visit is well organized, I always feel listened to and respected. It's clear everyone at this office is 110% committed to their work. I have been bothered by back pain for quite a while. I had tried acupuncture, lumbar injections, therapeutic massage, physical therapy, chiropractic. Then a friend recommended Dr. Petra (Eggert). I continue to be amazed at the relief I have had since seeing her. I have been amazed at the relief I have found with the combination of PT, adjustment, and massage each time I visit her office. Dr. Petra and her team are worth trying if you are in pain. I highly recommend her!

Petra (Dr. Eggert) and her team are so wonderful! She goes above and beyond to make sure you are getting the best treatment she can offer- she has so many incredible alternative healing tools, devices and methods and she is so generous with letting patients try it all out! I am so grateful she let me use her fancy infrared light machine several times a week- she made special time for me even when they were very busy!- and I saw fantastic results in reducing inflammation and fat! Such an amazing place! I always looked forward to my appointments with Dr. Eggert and her lovely staff. They are welcoming, attentive, and experienced. I started seeing Dr. Eggert because I had neck and upper back pain associated with working long hours at home and having poor posture and sleeping wrong. I searched for a good chiropractor and physical therapist after being in a car accident and I found the perfect combination to fit my needs. The staff at IntraHealth is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Dr. Eggert is welcoming, easy to talk to and helped not only adjust my back but taught me great exercises and stretches. I found Intra Health on insurance portal, not knowing anything about. I was desperate and had start my PT after my ankle surgery. I have been for PT when a new body part calls, and always find solutions, in this healing environment. Dr. E is wonderful at knowing what to do, and explaining to me what is causing the issue, and how to address it. She has really amazing technique. The staff is excellent, friendly, and are able to provide attention and guidance for the exercises, and modalities needed to get me moving without pain and discomfort.

Dr. Eggert has an incredible depth of knowledge and experience of the workings of the whole body: bones and muscles. When it looked like a muscle just needed to get stronger on my foot, she thinks it through and finds a connection to my lumbar spine. Quick easy " adjustment" and things improve rapidly.

Dr Petra is very good at what she does. She is quite experienced and combines physical therapy with chiropractic techniques. However, during a session, one may only get just a few minutes of her time unless it is something unusual that is going on or one's first visit. The rest of the time you are either on the electric stimulator or doing exercises -- at times it feels like it is to wait for Dr. Petra. Her assistants are good at what they do but it would be much better if Dr Petra was able to spend at least 15 minutes of the hour with each patient. Her administrative staff are quite

Dr Eggert provides very thoughtful and thorough treatment. She takes the time to understand clearly what's happening, and what her patients' needs are, in order to customize each patients' care. Not only did she fixed my shoulder pain, through the years she put my lower back pain caused by bulging discs under control, and helped me with numerous issue with my neck and hip. Most recently I had pain and strange tingling feeling around my left ankle. I was very concerned since I've had two ankle bone fractures before. The cost of going to see specialist would be thousands, but Dr. Eggert

I brought my teenage son here for PT after his orthopedic surgery. Before coming to Intrahealth I looked at a few PT places to make sure that the quality of care matches his needs and schedule.
And I am very glad that I found this place. Dr. Eggert and her team are exceptionally professional and at the same time caring. They are very meticulous with the diagnosis and treatments were exactly what was needed.

This review is regarding customer service only. Medical service follows the highest standards.
Customer service is the worst ever. During more than a month they unable to submit bills to insurance company. After three calls and promised callbacks I got 0.
Result: I have to manage it by myself, be a mediator between insurance company and "Intrahealth". My out of pocket money locked.
If you have insurance case - think twice. Guys know how to work with cash only!!
