After five years as the sole caregiver to my mother, an Alzheimer's sufferer, stress finally took its toll on my father. When he became extremely ill, I did what many out-of-town daughters do. I searched for a facility to move my parents to so they could receive care. From my home in Nebraska, I researched options for my parents, who live in Georgia.
Jeremy Hohlen is the General Manager at Home Care Assistance. He was born and raised in Nebraska. For nearly the past 20 years his career has been centered in elder care as an Assisted Living and Nursing Home Administrator, Vice President of Operations at a large Continuum of Care provider and most recently as the President & CEO of a statewide association comprised of non-profit independent, assisted living and long term care communities.

Hourly senior care is a perfect choice for those seniors who do not need constant monitoring and assistance. With hourly care, a professional caregiver comes to the home of the senior, for a minimum of four hours a day, to provide assistance with daily activities such as meal preparation, medication reminders, grooming, light housekeeping, transportation to and from medical appointments and more.

I have been a client of HCA for quite some time, and I have found it to be very refreshing, uplifting, and very capable of fulfilling my needs emotionally, socially, helpfully and with a concrete healthy capability of support.
My caregivers challenge my mind when I am depressed, upset, and a little out of sorts to help me become more sensitive and uplifted in manner.
They take care of my needs and provide me with outings that help relieve my stress and prove a sense of great relief.
I cannot express my deepest gratitude for their care, which seems to be beyond precessional and becomes gratefully

I have worked for Home Care Assistance of Lincoln, NE for 7 years. I love working for them! They care and appreciate the caregivers who work for them. They Make sure we have the training and resources we need. They have encouraged and supportive me in very helpful ways when I have needed it. I've been working for HCA for 4 years as a caregiver. I already knew I was well supported as I worked with clients. I was appreciated and respected. Then Covid 19 hit our beloved state. The president, owner and care managers immediately rose to the challenges that faced us all but especially for our vulnerable clients. They took that support, appreciation and respect for their caregivers up a notch plus. I don't believe I can feel more valued than I do with HCA. The best part is this benefits our darling clients. They are very well cared for. That is what we do....care.

CHI Health at Home have partnered with Home Care Assistance in homes to support families with their skilled needs, while Home Care Assistance helped with non skilled cares.
Working well together and successfully, using care plans for each patient that coordinates cares for disease management and monitoring. Making sure patients are doing well and preventing any re-hospitalizations.
Very easy to work with - well trained staff, fast and responsive referral coordination, and Erin is always available to help when needed!

I have had caregivers from HCA since February of 2016.
In August of that year I was able to get down to just daytime help. My helper has been with me ever since. 4 years she’s been here.
If it wasn’t for them working on finding good caregivers that were a good fit for me I wouldn’t have had the same caregiver for the last 4 years.
Well she’s my friend, really, is what she is.
