They never reached out. Go elsewhere. I feel as if I have been robbed. And that is unfortunate really as we have been known to drive an hour or more to enjoy a meal here. This kind of behavior is tantamount to failure.

Fun atmosphere. Food was okay. Homemade dinner rolls were super good. Service was very slow so I wouldn't recommend it for a business lunch, but we enjoyed our time there.

Idle Isle Cafe has always been a favorite in my family. I went there Saturday, during Peach Days in Brigham City. I was with my family, some friends and their kids. The manager, possibly the owner was awesome! He was very attentive and accomodating. My friend's baby got sick at the end of our meal and made a mess. The manager came right over and started cleaning it up. He was very kind and understanding. I was thoroughly impressed that he handled the situation himself and made us feel comfortable. And the food and homemade apricot jelly is the BEST!

LOVE this place, I like the old fashioned charm of the dining room, have always gotten good service, and love the food. I'm convinced they have the worlds best fries - there's some kind of extra coating on them? Wizardry.

This is the place to go whether you want a snack of soup and salad to a full blown old-fashioned home cooked meal (always get the mashed potatoes. Always.) Rolls and jam are a must. Get homemade Idleberry pie and a wonderful milkshake. This place is a fun museum of old fashioned wooden booths and tables. Love it.

Good home cooking in Brigham City. Their rolls and jam are delicious, and their shakes are huge. I love their country fried steak and my wife enjoyed her Philly cheesesteak. My mashed potatoes and gravy were exactly what I imagined (country gravy of course) and paired great with my country fried steak.

I've had the hamburgers before and enjoyed them and the fries. I've yet to try the salad bar but it looked good.

High quality food. Great burgers, chicken fried steak, and grilled chicken. They put the time in to make your experience great. I love the ambiance of this place. Old wood booths with ornate wood trim all around. They don't make restaurants like this anymore. Their service is wonderful and attentive, just like their food. The rolls are the best in town (and yes, I am including Maddox in that comparison). In fact, the rolls are not the only thing better than Maddox. The salads are better. The chicken fried steak is better. Even their fries are better. Brigham City is blessed to have two restaurants

No reviews yet??? Wow! What a treasure in downtown Brigham City! Obviously it has been around for years, judging by the quaint interior.
The French Onion Soup and the Loaded Potato Soup were so good!!! The flavors of both were right on the mark!
The meatloaf was exceptional and the hot roast beef was just as good as if your grandmother made it!
When they ask if you want rolls, say "yes"! They are large, hot and fresh and - they make an apricot jam that is undeniably delicious!
If we lived in town , we would definitely be regular patrons! Yum!

This is as close to moms Sunday dinner as you can find. This restaurant will celebrate 100 years in business next year. If that's not a sign of success I don't know what is. The variety of flavored sodas they can make are fun for kids and adults. You can never go wrong with the roast beef or just soup and salad with their homemade rolls and peach jam. Try and leave room for desert because the Idle Berry pie is delicious especially with a scoop of ice cream. Oh and they cater too. Great place, always a family favorite. A great place for kids as they have a great kids menu.

Located in the heart of Brigham City is this quaint cafe. The service was phenomenal. We were greeted with smiles and warm welcomes. The server and owner/manager were very kind and the manager thanked us sincerely multiple times for coming in. It was sweet and such a joy to see that gratitude in this hard time. I am grateful for them.
The food was good. I got the salmon, mashed potatoes, and vegetables. I wished the vegetables were more than just peas and carrots, but the salmon was glistening and flaked right onto my fork. I highly enjoyed the soft and flaky salmon.
I would go again and try something

Small local cafe with home cooked comfort food. We ordered chicken fried steak and pot roast. Portions were perfect small plate, so no leftovers. Served with choice of potato and a salad or vegetable. And the most amazing fresh dinner rolls!
Service was fast and friendly.

Brought my Auntie from Connecticut for dinner. Surprisingly busy for a Monday night in Brigham City.

Auntie made short work of her Philly Pepper Steak with homemade potato salad. (Thankfully she saved me some of the latter for lunch the next day - I LOVE it!), and I did something I never thought I'd do - I ordered the turkey steak. I've only had this dish once and I prepared it myself at my home - yuck. But leaving it to the pros, properly seasoned and pan fried, served with their yummy fry sauce and peas and carrots, I'll be ordering this again.

Service was great, as usual. Quick

Stopped in for a burger and let's be real, when there's no photo or ingredient list - that's gets dicy.

I opted for the loaded French dip and added bacon. Chris braved it and ordered the bacon cheesburger.

What the hell is wrong with me? I'm sitting here eating this delicious French dip and all I can do is covet my hisband's burger!

The french dip was the bomb. Full of flavor - BUT, THAT CHEESEBURGER.

WE WILL BE BACK!

This is the second oldest restaurant in Utah. Brigham city was having a peach festival and by chance, we decided to stop at the Idle Isle Cafe.
We tried the cod and fries which were done perfectly. Then we topped it off with a fresh peach milk shake. So good. The decor reminds me of places we went to back in the 40's and 50's. Home made rolls, piping hot out of the oven, with homemade peach jam were served when we ordered our food. Very friendly wait staff. I would gladly return when we are in the area. The Idle Isle Cafe has a wonderful friendly vibe. And I found it on Yelp.
